The Body Shop have recently released a new collection called ‘Spa of the World’ that includes a variety of different products that will give you your very own pamper session in your own home! Each product looks and feels really luxurious and will leave you feeling fresh, relaxed and indulged. I was sent three products from the range to review and I’m super excited to tell you all what I thought about them after trying them out. The three products that I’m reviewing are the Hawaiian Kukui Cream, the Japanese Camellia Cream & the Tahitian Orchid Massage Oil. I’m not one to go out and buy spa products so this is something really new and intriguing for me, however I love a good body butter which isn’t too de-similar!
Spa of the World // Hawaiian Kukui Cream
The Body Shop Hawaiian Kukui Cream is great for your skin if it’s in need of a little TLC. The cream is full of goodness that provides your skin with moisture and nutrition to leave it feeling nourished. It’s a really creamy cream if you know what I mean, it’s the kind that turns white until it’s blended fully into your skin. It doesn’t take long at all to blend smoothly into your skin, it took all of a few seconds for me without leaving my skin greasy. I had lovely soft skin after using this and it also made my skin look nice and glowy which makes for the perfect product during summer time! It’s also a great product to use during the colder months to give your skin all the goodness it’s missing from the lack of sunshine, and give it back that healthy glow. The scent is a very heavy flowery one, so if that’s your cup of tea then you will absolutely love this.
Spa of the World // Japanese Camellia Cream
This has to be my favourite product out of the three. The Body Shop Japanese Camellia Cream is a very buttery like cream that feels very rich and luxurious whilst moisturising and softening your skin. The scent again is a floral one, but it’s kind of like a sweet floral scent that I absolutely love because sweet scents are my faves. The cream absorbs very quickly into your skin and isn’t greasy in the slightest, which means it’s the type of product where you’re able to get dressed straight after applying it. I applied this after shaving my legs and it made my skin feel so silky and left it smelling gorgeous. If you’re hunting down a new body cream that will give you velvet skin that smells like heaven, then this is what you need. The body creams are priced at £23 each but the tubs contain 350ml of product which is absolutely loads, so these are sure to last you a really long time.
Spa of the World // Tahitian Orchid Massage Oil
I wasn’t sure what to expect of this, massage oils are not something I have ever bought or ever plan to buy, they’re not really my thing. However, I kept an open mind and decided to test the product to see what it was like. I’m not a fan of the smell of this at all, but I believe there are other scents so don’t rule it out yet, If I was to get this again, I’d just go for a different scent. The oil itself is really nice because whilst it’s obviously going to be a bit greasy, it’s not incredibly or horribly greasy, it has the kind of consistency that rubs nicely into the skin. I think if you’re into massage oils, you will love this, it’s priced at only £14, you just need to find the scent that’s for you, it could even be this one! I’ll have to give it a real test and get someone to give me a foot massage 😉
So those are my reviews of the three products, if you’d like to try out something from this range but only want one product, I’d recommend the Body Shop Japanese Camellia Cream for sure, I can’t get over how gorgeous it smells!
