I’ve been searching for a new drugstore foundation for everyday wear for a while, my go to is Loreal true match which I love but now that they’ve changed the formula, it’s no good for my oily skin anymore. I did a bit of research on good drugstore foundations for oily skin and one of the suggestions I came across was Boots No7 Beautifully Matte foundation which I’ve never heard of before but decided to give a try. I actually bought this in the wrong shade, which is my own fault for buying it online rather than going in store, but I applied it anyway and because I loved how it looked I thought I’d review it!
The formula of this is quite thick but it’s really easy to blend out, so you don’t need absolutely loads to cover your face like you do with some thick foundations. The coverage of this is absolutely amazing for a drugstore foundation, it’s as good as Estee Lauder’s Double Wear which is my holy grail foundation so you can imagine how surprised I was. It covers all redness and every imperfection and it made my skin look so flawless, for £13 you can’t go wrong. It’s obviously matte as it’s a matte foundation but I didn’t find it to be too drying, it’s the perfect match for us oily skinned girls if you want something that will keep your face matte for a long time. I actually think this could easily be a drugstore dupe for Estee Lauder DW, what an accidental find it was! It comes with a pump too unlike EL DW which is another bonus. I think that if I’d have picked this up in the right shade, I would definitely have been wearing it everyday. I’m going to go into Boots soon to see if I can find a better colour match.
Have you guys tried anything from Boots No7 range?
