Champagne eyes – the look that can be worn for any occasion.
I always go for bronze & copper tones when it comes to my eye makeup, so I thought for once I would create a classic champagne eye. I don’t know why I don’t go for this kind of look more often because light shades compliment my eyes far better than darker shades do. I think this makeup look made me realise that, so I will probably reach for these kinds of shadows more often from now on! I used a mixture of two different palettes for this look, but like with all makeup looks, you can view the swatches below and just find similar shades or dupes to get more or less the exact same result. I’ve been using my free sample of Benefit’s Goof Proof Brow Pencil lately and I’m really liking it, I think I may have to purchase the full size version in the near future. Anyways if you would like to know how I created this look, keep reading!
Brows
On my brows, as mentioned above, I used the new Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in shade 6 which is the darkest shade they do but it’s the perfect shade to match my hair. It hasn’t been released yet, this is a free sample I got in Elle Magazine but I got lucky with the shade! I also used the Rimmel Brow This Way in Medium Brown.
Base
To prime my eyes, I used my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, as you can see this stuff is very well loved, I never wear makeup without it.
Brow Bone
To highlight my brow bone, I used Mac ‘Shroom’ which has become my new favourite highlight for my brows, it’s a light shimmery beige and looks really nice.
Crease
In my crease I used the shade ‘Sultry’ from the Balm Nude ‘tude Palette, this is just a warm brown tone.
Lid
I applied Mac ‘All That Glitters’ all over my lid, such an old classic but an absolutely beaut shade!
Inner Corners
>For my inner corners, I used a mix of ‘Stand-offish’ & ‘Sassy’ from the Balm Nude ‘tude Palette, both very pigmented and full of specks of glitter so they create a lovely inner corner glow!
Liner & Lashes
For my winged liner, I used the Barry M Liquid Eyeliner and then I coated my lashes with my Rimmel Wonder’Full Mascara. I’m also wearing ‘the heiress’ lashes by xoBeauty.
Lips
My lipstick is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II, I’m obsessed with this shade, it’s so so gorgeous. It looks a lot lighter on other skin tones but it’s a gorgeous deep terracotta shade on my light skin and I am in looooove.
Left to Right: Mac ‘Shroom’ & ‘All That Glitters’ and The Balm Nude ‘tude Palette ‘Sultry’, ‘Stand-offish’ & ‘Sassy.’
