Smokey peach eyes that are perfect for the transition from Summer to Autumn.
Peach and orange tones are lovely colours to wear in the Summer months but they work equally as well for Autumn as they compliment the orange Autumn leaves. I thought that since we’re nearing the end of Summer that these shades would work well for a little eye makeup look, and peach is also one of my favourite shades to wear! I went with some dramatic lashes as they always add some definition to a simple look like this and make the colours stand out more. Here’s what I used for the look:
Brows
On my brows I used my NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in Brunette and my Essence Make Me Brow Gel (fab stuff).
Base
I primed my eyes with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
Brow Bone
I went in with Mac ‘Shroom’ to highlight my brow bone. It doesn’t show in the pictures but this is a really shimmery shade and looks gorgeous when the light catches on it.
Crease
I applied Makeup Geek ‘Frappe’ onto my lid and blended it out into the crease. I also added a bit of this under my lower lash line.
Outer V
In my outer V, I used Makeup Geek ‘Cocoa Bear’ & ‘Americano’ to darken the area and create the smoked out look.
Lid
From the inner corner all the way to the centre of my lid I applied Mac ‘Honey Lust’ which is a really glittery peach shade. I also used Mac ‘All That Glitters’ on top to add a bit more colour & sparkle.
Inner Corners
I used Makeup Geek ‘Starry Eyed’ in the inner corners of my eyes – what a glow it gives, gorgeous!
Mascara & Lashes
I coated my lashes with Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara & my lashes are the Ardell Double Ups in 207.
Left to Right: Mac Shroom, MUG Frappe, MUG Cocoa Bear, MUG Americano, Mac Honey Lust, Mac All That Glitters & MUG Starry Eyed.
Hope you liked this look 🙂 Also if anyone has any tips for how I can get longer bottom lashes and stop them clumping when I apply mascara, please let me know. They totally ruin all my eye makeup pictures because they’re so short & stubby argh!
