Subtle smokey eyes with a pop of rose gold glitter…
I was feeling inspired to create a look using this rose gold glitter I’ve had for ages and never really used. It gives me Autumnal vibes because it has that crisp golden leaves colouring to it and I thought it would be nice to experiment a little with makeup since I haven’t done any looks in a while. I also needed an excuse to try out these Blinking Beaute Lashes for the first time because they are so so gorgeous, look at them! I used my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette to create this look, which is one of my favourite palettes of all time that I haven’t dug out for a little while so it was nice to use that again too. Here’s how I got this look:
Brows
On my brows is my trusty NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in Brunette.
Base
Two years on and my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion has finally run out, how well has that lasted me to say I always use it?! I reordered it in ‘Eden’ this time, rather than going for the original like always and I’m loving it so far. Love the new packaging too. So that’s what I used to prime my eyes with.
Eyeshadow
So as I said above, I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette to create this look.
First off I went in with the shade ‘Champagne Truffle’ to highlight my brow bone, which is a light shimmery pink.
I then went in with ‘Milk Chocolate’ and applied this all over my lid and then blended it out into the crease. I also brought it out under my lower lash line and blended it all together.
I applied the shade ‘Cherry Cordial’ in my outer corner and blended it out quite far, basically where you’d apply liner if doing a cat eye. I also applied it in the inner corners of my lid, leaving the centre of my lid light. I blended it under my lower lash line again too just so everything merged together nicely.
In the centre of my lid, I used the shade ‘Creme Brulee’ and kept applying layers of it so it gave me a real pop of gold.
In the inner corners of my eyes, I’ve used some rose gold glitter but I can’t for the life of me remember where I got it from so I guess you can just use any! It’s quite messy to apply anyway and I had to use glue, so investing in some pressed glitters is probably a better idea.
Mascara & Lashes
I coated my lashes with my Eye of Horus Goddess Mascara and applied these gorgeous Blinking Beaute Lashes in Style No 1*, so obsessed. They’re really natural looking yet add that glam factor. I don’t even need to wear eyeliner with them either!
Left to Right: Champagne Truffle, Milk Chocolate, Cherry Cordial & Creme Brulee.
& that’s how I got this pretty look, so Autumn appropriate, I love it. Let me know if any of you guys have any Blinking Beaute Lashes, I’m now on my second pair and want the whole collection!
