Pretty party makeup inspo for the festive season…
With Christmas & New Years coming up, I though that I would put together a little look for some party makeup inspo. I also finally had an excuse to try out these mink lashes that I bought aaaages ago, they’re just so gorgeous. This look turned out a lot more subtle than I planned, but I generally just throw on whatever eyeshadow I feel like without planning what goes with what. Sometimes certain shades mixed end up looking completely different to how they look in the pan or how you’d imagine. But that’s cool, I actually really like how this turned out. It’s a gorgeous subtle shimmery eye with some big fluffy lashes to glam it up. Perfect for a Christmas or New Years party and easy to put together!
On my brows, I’m using a product I picked up recently which is the Freedom Brow Pomade. I decided to give it a try after seeing it in Superdrug for only five pounds, and I absolutely love it, it’s that good it’s replaced my NYX Tame & Frame Pomade! I’ll post a more in-depth review in another post but it’s so good.
To prime my eyes, I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden. I now prefer this to the original as it hides any discolouration on my lids!
On my eyes, I used my custom eyeshadow palette because it’s my fave. I used Mac Shroom to highlight my brow bone, which is a pearly white highlight. In my crease is MUG Frappe, a warm matte brown and I used MUG Vintage in the outer V which is a gorgeous matte red based purple shade.
In the centre of the lid I applied MUG Grandstand, which is a shimmery bronze shade but I really packed this on and it’s come out like more of a champagne once blended with the other shades.
In the inner corners I used the Sigma Loose Shimmer in Gilded which is so so gorgeous, and finally I applied Mac Cranberry under my lower lash line for that bit of festivity.
I coated my lashes with my Sigma Sinuosity Mascara (which is amazing by the way!) and applied the Blinking Beaute Lashes in Elojello.
