Dry skin can be a nightmare, especially when trying to get a smooth base for your makeup, but hopefully these products will help…
Cellex-C Hydra 5 B Complex* | £44.00
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment | £20.00
Something I swear by now is this Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado from Kiehl’s, I literally could not find anything to sort out how dry my under eye area was until I found this. I love that it’s a pretty affordable skincare brand too and this little pot is lasting me a lifetime, it hardly looks touched and I’ve been using it for weeks.
Antipodes Joyful Hand & Body Cream* | £28.99
Antipodes is slowly becoming one of my favourite brands for skincare, I hadn’t heard of them until the end of last year but since using their products, my skin has become so much more hydrated. I suffer with dry skin all over my body and have done my whole life so I’m always in need of body moisturisers and hand creams, but this one is one of my favourites. It smells absolutely insane, it’s made with avocado oil, wild blackcurrant berry & hibiscus flower and it’s just the most beautiful smelling cream evvvvver. I mean if you want a serious treat for your skin, this is what to get. It leaves my skin with a fruity scent and feeling like velvet, I love it.
Antipodes Divine Avocado & Rosehip Face Oil* | £18.99
Everybody raves about face oils but I don’t know how much of a fan I am yet. This is the first one I’ve actually tried and I don’t particularly like how greasy it leaves my skin. My sister actually mentioned that I might be using a little bit much and that you only need a tiny tiny bit so I’m going to try using a lot less than I have been and see how I get on with it then. This one is a daily hydrating oil treatment and I have noticed that it does help to keep my skin hydrated, so I would like to keep this in my routine if I can!
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream | £24.00
I have a couple of daily moisturisers on rotation now but the Kieh’s Ultra Facial Cream will always be a fave. Every blogger and their dog raves about this so I won’t bang on about it too much but you hardly need any and it’s so blaaaaady moisturising that it’s ideal for us dry skin sufferers. If you want a smooth, flawless base for your makeup then you need this in your life.
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream* | £29.75
If you’re a regular reader of my lil blog then you’ll know that I’ve been using this for a while now. I’ve just received my second pot of it just in time because yesterday I used the last of it up. It’s a god send for dry skin and is the perfect treat for my skin after I’ve cleansed and it’s feeling a little rough. It also smells amazing and I always wake up the next day with super soft cheeks so what more could a girl want? Highly, highly recommend this.
Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream* | £23.50
This is the other daily moisturiser I’ve had on rotation and I love this one. If you’ve ever used hydrocortisone then the consistency is a little bit like that, a tad thicker than your usual moisturiser but very hydrating and settles into the skin lovely. It also works for oily skin which is pretty fab as I do tend to suffer with a bit of an oily T-Zone. It’s got an almond & vanilla fragrance and it just looks and feels like a really luxurious skincare product which makes it a lovely treat to apply on a morning.
Oh K! Nourishment Overnight Sleep Mask | £4.00
I was trying to spend enough on ASOS to get free delivery so I popped this in my basket having no idea what it would be like. I’ve used it a couple of times now and I’ve woken up to lovely plump skin so for four pounds it’s a pretty good hydrating sleep mask. It says you get 5-6 uses on the packet but when it arrived it seemed like there was nothing in it, however you really don’t need to use much and there is product in there even though it seems like there isn’t. If you want to pick up something that’s not absolutely amazing but is super super affordable and will do a pretty decent job then try out this!
