The minute I saw pictures of this NARS blush palette, I knew I had to have it. I couldn’t find it available anywhere in the UK but a couple of weeks later, I found out Feelunique had started stocking it and it was soon mine. It’s safe to say I am completely obsessed with this palette as my new found beauty addiction has gone from being eyeshadow palettes to blushes. If you love blush then this palette is an absolute must have, not to mention it’s a NARS product and I mean, who doesn’t love NARS?
The palette is made up of six gorgeous shades; Conquest, Undefeated, Power Play, Hot Sand, Fame & Candid. I’ll start with the top row and then go onto the second row. So firstly and most importantly, these shades are superrrrrr pigmented. I love NARS blushes anyway but to say you get six blushes in this palette for just under the price of two singles, you really are getting a good deal. There’s a mix of matte & shimmer finishes too which I really like, it gives you options.

Swatches L-R: Conquest, Undefeated, Power Play, Hot Sand, Fame & Candid.
Conquest: a light baby pink with a matte finish. It’s a really light shade which works well for lighter skin tones if you want something subtle. I never go heavy with my blush so this is the perfect everyday shade for me. It doesn’t have a very creamy texture like some powder products do but it’s not overly powdery and dry either. It’s easy to work with a light hand and very buildable too.
Undefeated: a barbie pink with a shimmer finish. This shade is absolutely gorgeous for that perfect flush of pink to the cheeks whilst also giving you a beautiful glow. It’s lovely & pigmented and I think this one will be my go-to as soon as Spring arrives!
Power Play: a bright cool toned pink with blue undertones and a matte finish. This one is a tad powdery but I think that’s only to be expected with a shade as bright as this. It’s not as easy to blend as the others are so I definitely think you need to work with a light hand when using this but it’s still a beautiful shade.
Hot Sand: a light orangey peach with a shimmery metallic finish. I think this one works great as a highlight, especially for complexions with yellow undertones like mine. If you don’t want flushed cheeks but want some colour and lots of glow then this is ideal. I think I’m going to experiment with this and use it as an inner corner highlight too!
Fame: a warm coral with a subtle shimmer finish. This one is really pigmented and gives the cheeks a lovely natural glow. I think this is another one that’s perfect for everyday wear during Spring/Summer.
Candid: a plum pink with a satin finish. This shade is highly pigmented, I tapped my brush into the pan just yesterday and accidentally got a huge smudge of pink all over my cheek. Luckily it’s very blendable and I fixed it within seconds, thank god! I don’t do bright pink cheeks but I really like how this looks on me, a very natural flush of colour.
