Mother’s Day 2017: Sunday 26th March.
So as Mothers Day is coming up, I thought that I would put together a little gift guide to make it easier on some of you having no idea where to start. I am absolutely rubbish at buying gifts for people and find gift guides so useful so hopefully some of you guys will too. Every year for these kinds of occasions, all the usual stuff comes out like teddy bears and mugs with ‘mum’ or ‘grandma’ on and I just find that so boring. So if you want to buy your mum a little gift but something a bit more personal and thoughtful, this may help you out!
If you want to get something beauty related, a pretty makeup bag would make a nice gift, or if she’s all about those hair products, another nice gift would be some of the L’Occitane shampoo. These are enriched with natural extracts and essential oils, fab for a nice treat for the hair. If you’re thinking about maybe getting her some jewellery, I am absolutely obsessed with this watch – it’s gorgeous! A cute purse like this one would make a lovely gift too.
This Deluxe Beauty Selection Box* from The Body Shop is such a beautiful gift also, and every girl loves The Body Shop right? The set includes the British Rose Bath Foam (which smells incredible), Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel, Vitamin E Moisture Cream, Moringa Body Butter & the Shea Hand Cream. It’s absolutely lovely and I definitely love mine!
I’ve bought my mum a homeware gift this year as I saw it in a gift shop and knew instantly that she would love it. I won’t say what it is or show it as she might read this post! But homeware always makes for a lovely gift, and it’s a very ‘mum’ thing too so you can never go wrong. My mum also loves flowers and greenery around the house so if yours does too, you could always go for a beautiful vase like this one. Other nice home-y gifts could be a nice candle (an obvious one! I’ve bought my mum so many of them I’ve lost count) or maybe a cute framed print to put on the wall.
