My Spring beauty picks for this year…
This blush palette is just life at the moment, I haven’t put it down since buying it. It has beautiful shades for my minimal makeup days as well as shades for the days when I want a bit more colour and more glow. Every shade in this palette is also absolutely perfect for Spring so if you don’t have this yet, you NEED it. You will not be disappointed! You can find a full review of this palette in this post.
Mac Pro Long-Wear Paint Pot: Vintage Selection // £16.00
This is my first Mac Paint Pot and I am definitely hooked. I swatched a few at a Mac counter the other day and ended up going for Vintage Selection as it looked stunning on my hand. It’s such a beautiful shade and the perfect easy to wear eyeshadow! It’s a lovely bronze shimmery shade which makes it a gorgeous pick for Spring. I’m dying to pick up more shades of these already, any recommendations?
By Terry Ombre Blackstar: Frozen Quartz // £29.00
Another cream shadow that I’m obsessed with is this one from By Terry, I picked this up in Frozen Quartz which is a beautiful rose gold kinda shade. It’s super pigmented and really gorgeous and glowy. You can apply it quite sheer for a light shimmery eye or build it up into a more rose gold/bronze tone. You can find a swatch of it in all it’s glory in this post.
Jouer Powder Highlight: Rose Quartz // £19.00
The perfect pick for glowing skin is this Jouer highlighter in Rose Quartz. It’s so bloody beautiful, no joke. This has got to be the best highlighter I’ve ever had, it just gives me the glowiest skin evvvver. Absolutely perfect for that Spring glow. The swatch doesn’t really do it justice but you can find one in this post.
Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette: Fair/Light // £28.00
This little Stila number is the perfect all in one palette for the eyes and cheeks, especially at this time of year. It holds two beautiful shades that have your rosy pink cheeks covered as well as five gorgeous eyeshadows to cover all occasions. You can go light & glittery, dark & smokey or anything in between. It’s such a steal for the price! If you want to see a full review & swatches, I posted one here.
NARS Illuminator: Copacabana // £23.00
NARS Copacabana is the most stunning liquid highlighter. I love to mix this in with my foundations that are leaning more on the matte side to create a gorgeous dewy base. It’s also just as nice applied on it’s own to the tops of the cheekbones, however I have to be wearing no foundation to use it like this as cream/liquid products always just take my base off! I reviewed & swatched it in this post.
Jouer Long-Wear Lip Topper: Skinny Dip // £13.50
I’m not a huge gloss fan but for the Jouer Lip Toppers, I can make an exception. Skinny Dip is toooooo pretty to not love, like I can honestly say it lives up to the hype – it’s a beaut. It’s not long-wearing at all like it says (let’s not lie here) but it is gorgeous enough to pop in your handbag and top up throughout the day. It’s just so worth that extra bit of effort. I swatched it in this post if you want to see how beautiful it is. It’s definitely going to be a Spring favourite of mine this year!
NARS Sheer Lipstick: Dolce Vita* // £21.00
I think Spring time is all about them pretty “my lips but better” shades and NARS Dolce Vita is the perfect one to have you covered. I only got this recently but I’ve been wearing it every single day. I’ve had so many compliments on it too. It’s just so easy to wear, it’s creamy, it’s moisturising and it looks beaut on the lips. It’s not very long-lasting but for a lipstick so creamy you can’t really expect any less can you? You can see me wearing this in this post.
Chloé Love Story Eau Sensuelle Eau de Parfum* // £47.00
Would it even be a Spring post without a fragrance thrown in? My current favourite is Chloé Love Story, it’s so so gorgeous. A beautiful sweet floral scent that’s absolutely perfect for Spring time. And Summer. And the rest of the year. I’m obsessed.
