The one swipe eyeshadows that I’ve been loving lately…
One swipe eyeshadows are a new love of mine. I never used to be one for a single shade eyeshadow, or a cream eyeshadow but now I’m a changed gal. Don’t get me wrong, I still love to go all out with my eyeshadow but it’s just not realistic on a day to day basis. These little gems provide me with the most gorgeous pop of colour in just one swipe.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo: On & On Bronze // Β£4.99
This was the first cream shadow I ever owned and it’s still a firm favourite. It’s the most beautiful warm bronze shade that pairs perfectly with a nude lip, I love it. I can’t believe how long this has lasted me too when it’s only Β£4.99! I wish Maybelline would bring out more shades of these because the formula is absolutely fab, they’re so tough to budge!

Once you get your first Mac Paint Pot, you will not go back. I’m OBSESSED with this, it is so so beautiful. I’m desperate to get my hands on the entire collection of them now! Vintage Selection is another beautiful bronze shade, however it’s a bit more cool toned than On & On Bronze but that’s what I love about it. I usually prefer warmer tones but this one swiped all over the lid is just so shimmery and pretty. For my first paint pot from Mac, I definitely made the right choice!
Laura Geller Illuminator: Gilded Honey // Β£21.00
You may notice that this pick is actually a highlighter – my version is a sample size that I received in a free goody bag with my Cult Beauty order. It’s a tad too dark to work as a highlighter for my pale skin, unless I work with a very very light hand, so I prefer to use this as an eyeshadow. It’s such a beautiful caramel tone that works so well as a pretty wash of shimmer to the lid.

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Pan: Cosmpolitan // Β£6.00
Cosmopolitan has become one of my favourites because it’s a gorgeous peach with a golden sheen that’s perfect for Spring. I love peach based shades in general anyway, but they’re always the prettiest type of shade to wear at this time of year. It’s almost like a rose gold tone in the light, it’s absolutely stunning and definitely a must have!

MAC Eyeshadow Pan: Honey Lust // Β£13.50
Honey Lust has been one of my favourite eyeshadows for a long time now, it’s just beautiful all on it’s own or layered on other shadows for a stand out lid shade. It’s a peachy-copper with a glitter finish and the chunks of glitter in it just make it look incredible however you wear it. I am in loooove with this one.
By Terry Ombre Blackstar: Frozen Quartz // Β£29.00
And last but not least, is my current favourite overall. Frozen Quartz is just so so so so so pretty (enough so’s there?) I’ve been wearing it so much lately that I’m going through it far too fast for how much it costs to replace. I used this in my latest YouTube tutorial if you would like to see how it looks washed all over the lid. Trust me – it’s the bomb.

Maybelline On & On Bronze, MAC Vintage Selection, Laura Geller Gilded Honey, MUG Cosmopolitan, MAC Honey Lust & By Terry Frozen Quartz.
Just a little side note: the swatches do the shades no justice at all. I don’t know if it was the lighting or just that they look 10x nicer on the lid. Maybe I should have done a little collage of me wearing them all?! I’ll probably use them in some upcoming YouTube tutorials so you can see them then!
