I’m always buying Reuben new clothes and today I’m going to share a few of the bits I’ve picked up lately and the brands that we love…
If there’s one thing that I can’t resist, it’s baby clothes. And shoes. I mean I was obsessed with baby clothes before I even had a child, never mind actually having one. If I see something I think he’ll look cute in or that will make for a great photo, I just have to have it. I’ll also use any excuse to buy him a new outfit, like for his Christening for example; I got a handmade outfit made for his special day. Anyway recently I’ve picked up a few new bits for him, because he’s growing out of a lot of his clothes and also because he needed some summery bits for Italy next month. First up we got these gorgeous bits from The Essential One, who are a brand with some of the cutest clothes ever! Their rompers are to die for, and we have this gorgeous cream one with the quote “sometimes I’m hungry and other times I’m asleep” which I am completely obsessed with. Reuben looks SO cute in this at bedtime and it’s perfect for keeping him all cosy and warm whilst not having feet like a sleepsuit so that he doesn’t struggle to walk. Look out for loads of pictures over on our Instagram of him in it! We also have these bear knee joggers that are super comfy for him to wear day to day now the weather is getting a bit colder.
For Italy, I need some clothes that are a bit more summery and are going to keep him cool so we have this rocket t-shirt paired with these rocket denim shorts that make the cutest little outfit ever!! I mean seriously, can you just imagine how cool he’s going to look in these?! I picked up some more bits for Ru to wear in Italy from Next, one of my go-to places to shop when I need new clothes for Ru. I saw this striped dungaree set with a black vest and couldn’t resist picking it up, I am a hooker for lil baby dungarees as well as stripes – so what a perfect combo! I also picked up this gorgeous pack of three tee’s that I’m obsessed with, the dinosaur one is too cute. The last thing I picked up from Next were a set of two short sleeved rompers that Reuben looks absolutely adorable in; I cannot wait to put him in both of these in Italy!
Zara is another one of my all time favourite places to shop for baby clothes. I find clothes for baby boys can be very hit & miss and the girls section is always so much larger than the boys, but Zara never fails to let me down. Sometimes there aren’t large sections in store, but online there’s always so much to choose from so I love making a cheeky order every now and again. I recently picked up two long sleeved tee’s from this beautiful explore the forest range, this one & this one and I’m obsessed with them both. I could honestly just buy everything from the baby section, and they’ve some gorgeous corduroy trousers in at the moment that I’m lusting after but he has far too many clothes already…
Last but not least H&M is another one of my favourites for baby clothes, they always have the cutest clothes and it’s all so affordable too. I’ve been looking for the perfect winter coat for Reuben and I found one with a furry hood on Zara for £40 but couldn’t justify that price tag for a coat for a tiny human, so I found an identical one on H&M for half the price; winning!
