A few things I’ve been loving lately…
I suppose these products maybe should have been in my August favourites but then that post would have been far too long, so I’ve rounded up a few more things that I’ve been loving lately. I’m feeling really uninspired lately when it comes to makeup, I think it’s because I’ve been so busy with other stuff but there’s a few things that I’m reaching for regularly so I’ve included those. I think what I really need to do is have a switch up and swap out all my go-to nudes for some berry tones ready for Autumn. I shall get a post together on my faves when that happens. Anyway, here’s some of the goodies I am looooving.
ABH Modern Renaissance Palette // £41.00
I hardly ever go a day where I don’t pick up this palette. I’ve been trying to use my other palettes and eyeshadows a bit more but this one is just my absolute go-to. Most days I’m trying to do my makeup in a hurry whilst my baby naps or whilst the tv keeps him entertained for 20 minutes so I like to reach for something easy to throw on whilst also looking pretty, and this palette is always the one. I feel like I’m limited with lid shades as I like to wear a shimmer on the centre of my lid and the only one I really use is Primavera but I always manage to create different looks by mixing up the mattes. It’s just such a beaut palette and I always get compliments when I use it!
Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick // £5.99
I’m not huge on liquid lipsticks, however I’ve been getting back into them a bit recently for something more long-wearing. I was sent some of the new Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks and I really like the formula of them. The two I’ve been reaching for most are ‘Be My Baby’ & ‘Latte To Go’ which are both gorgeous nudes. Be My Baby is definitely my favourite out of the range, it’s such a pretty brown toned nude, perfect for Autumn!
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation // £29.50
If you’ve read most of my other posts you might remember I hated this foundation at first and then worked out how to make it work for me and loved it. Well, I’m still reaching for it on a daily basis and I just love the finish it gives me, not to mention the colour match is pretty perfect. I really wish I didn’t have to use like three or four pumps to love this as it’s so pricey to replace!
Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly // £4.25
There’s nothing better than a goodie from lush and I love their new shower jellies. This one has the most gorgeous citrus cent and I just can’t get enough of it! These last so long too, you only need to use the tiniest amount to get a lovely lather, I definitely need to pick up more.
YSL Black Opium // £43.95
I’ve been constantly wearing this perfume lately, like it’s just the nicest scent evvvver. It’s sweet but musky, so it’s not overly sweet. It makes me feel so feminine and grown up when I wear it, I feel like it’s the perfect everyday winter scent so I’m going to be spritzing it all over myself from now until winter ends!
REN Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask // £28.00
I’ve had really bad skin lately and this mask has been saving my liiiiiife. It’s such a good mask for sensitive skin and it makes my face feel so good whilst really hydrating it. I was obsessed with it when I first bought it and then it went to the back of my skincare drawer and I forgot about it. I’m SO glad I dug it out the other day because it’s going to be a god send now the weather is getting colder.
What have you been loving lately?
