The NARS Jetsetter Audacious Lipstick set…
You all know I’m a big fan of the NARS Audacious lipsticks and when I was kindly gifted this little trio, I was thrilled! The NARS Jetsetter Trio is exclusive to World Duty Free and contains three lipsticks from the Audacious range. If you love a shade for every occasion then this set is for you. I already own one of the shades, Charlotte, which I posted in a recent makeup look of mine and expressed my obsession for. It’s the most gorgeous burgundy shade that is perfect for winter time, and it really makes a statement. The other two shades in the set are Anita & Carmen which are equally as beautiful, so today I’m going to share my thoughts on each shade in the set…
Anita // Anita is the perfect everyday nude that every girl needs in their life. A gal can never have enough nudes in her collection to keep it from getting boring and this one is no exception. It’s become my new everyday fave as I love the easy, glide on formula and it’s so pigmented too! I also own Brigitte from the NARS Audacious range and Anita is darker and more purple toned than that one, so it’s perfect for those that are more into the Velvet Teddy type of nudes rather than the bright pinks.
Charlotte // Charlotte, as you all know, is my new favourite burgundy lipstick. I wore it a lot during December with absolutely no regrets. I feel like this one shows up a lot more red when actually worn on the lips so if you want to see it in action, head over to this blog post where you can see me wearing it in a makeup look! It’s the most gorgeous deep burgundy shade, perfect for gals that love that vampy look. It’s not all that long lasting due to the satin finish but it glides on like a dream. It does bleed a tiny bit, I never wear it with a lip pencil but I’d probably recommend you do, especially if you want it last longer throughout the day.
Carmen // Out of the three shades, I think this is my favourite overall, Carmen is just gorge. I mentioned this on my Instagram stories, but this is not a shade I would have picked up for myself in a million years, yet I’m completely in love with it. I think it compliments my skin tone so well, and it’s just such a flattering bright red lip. It doesn’t bleed at all so it’s super easy to wear with no lip pencil underneath, and it’s creamy and hydrating unlike a lot of dark lips. I wore this all day the other day and it even barely shifted throughout eating, I’m super impressed with the lasting power to say that it’s not a matte finish too. Overall, this little set is fab if you are wanting to try out more NARS lipsticks, or are just eager to get your hands on these three shades in general. I love that you can buy them as a set as they really do have you sorted for every occasion, what other shades could a girl need?! The NARS Audacious lipsticks are one of my all time fave formulas too – a definite must have trio if you’re going on holiday any time soon and passing through duty free.
