With Mother’s Day round the corner, I’m here to chat about a super easy but great gift you can treat your mum to this year. Fragrance is one of the best Mother’s Day gifts to receive in my opinion. I mean, I wouldn’t say no to a fresh bunch of flowers, but perfume lasts months & months whereas flowers generally die after a week. I’m very much a “scent” kinda gal, and I always drench myself in perfume before leaving the house. Hell, I even spritz it around the room even if I’m staying at home. If I could choose any fragrance to receive this Mother’s Day, had I not already got it obviously, it would be the new Hugo Boss The Scent. I have a very jealous sister at the moment who keeps stealing it all of the time because we’re both so obsessed with it. It’s a gorgeous fresh, fruity scent that isn’t too overpowering. It has top notes of peach but it’s very delicate and feminine without being overly sweet. It does come across as quite sweet at first but it soon settles down into something more subtle. The floral undertones come through which I think takes the edge off the sweetness, making it quite a sophisticated scent. It’s honestly the perfect scent for any woman and completely lives up to it’s name – I’m addicted! If you’re a girly girl then the packaging is also the perfect vanity addition, it’s sleek, it’s pink and it’s classy. Mother’s Day is the ideal time to gift this fragrance too, as it’s such a Spring/Summer time scent.
If this scent isn’t your mum’s cuppa tea, then I still recommend having a browse of Fragrance Direct for the perfect scent for her because they have so much choice and the prices are always unbeatable.
