A few of the products that I’m loving lately!
You know when you find a product that you like and you tend to start reaching for it everyday? This is a selection of products that have made the cut for me. Most of them are new to my stash but a couple of them are old favourites that I’ve found a love for again. There are mostly makeup goodies but there’s a couple of new skincare bits too, so keep reading to find out what I’ve been loving lately…
The Fresh Rose Cleansing Foam has fast become one of my favourite cleansing products. I love how easy it is to use and how soft it feels when absorbing into my skin. It cleanses my face like a dream and feels so soothing whilst keeping my skin hydrated at the same time. A lot of cleansers I’ve used in the past have made my skin feel so dry and chalky afterwards and this one does the total opposite so it’s become a fast favourite!
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream
All I can say about the Fresh Rose Face Cream is that I have not stopped using it since it arrived. It’s such a fab moisturiser for dry skin, it sinks in like a dream – not to mention the fact that it smells incredible. I’ve actually had a really oily t-zone lately and it hasn’t accentuated my oiliness either so that’s a bonus! It leaves my skin feeling so smooth that it’s perfect for use before makeup, it’s been my go-to moisturiser on a morning for the past few weeks.
I’d heard so many things about IT Cosmetics products before I finally got to try a couple out for myself, and I had pretty big expectations for the CC Cream. I love the coverage it gives me, it’s lightweight yet it covers all of my redness and blemishes wonderfully. I will say that whilst my skin has been a bit oily lately, this hasn’t been the best product for it, so I’d maybe avoid it if you do suffer with extremely oily skin. But before that, my skin was super dry for months and months and this foundation has been my absolute go-to as it doesn’t cling to any dryness at all. I’m still using it now, I’m just using a good mattifying primer underneath so it might still work for you if you use a matte primer & powder with it. Overall I think it’s such a lovely everyday base and I’d definitely recommend it!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
A long time favourite of mine, like for most bloggers, is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I actually have this in two shades, a light shade for concealing my dark under eyes and a darker shade to cover blemishes and redness. It works almost as well as high end concealers for me yet it’s a fraction of the price so it just easily makes it into my everyday routine for that reason.
Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow
When I first got the CT Bronze & Glow Palette years ago, it was a huge splurge for me and I didn’t put it down for months. After that, I discovered more & more beauty products so this one kinda went to the back of the drawer for a while, but lately I’ve rediscovered it and haven’t put it down since. I’m using it pretty much every day to bronze my face with and add definition, and the highlight is the perfect shade for an everyday glow. It’s not too over the top whilst looking totally natural, but it’s also buildable so if I’m feeling a little dull I can easily add a bit extra. I feel like this is a palette that no blogger will regret having in their collection because it’s gorgeous as well as being so photogenic!
Glossier Boy Brow is one of my favourite brow discoveries everrrrr. It keeps all my brow hairs in place all day and fills them in with that bit of extra colour. I always use my brow pencil with it but I don’t think I could be without this now. I generally don’t go a day without any other brow products but if I really wanted to wear minimal makeup I would probably use this alone, I love how it makes my brows look.
I’m sure you’ve heard me talking about this loads over the past few months but it’s still a daily staple in my routine. I kinda want to try out some other brands of eyebrow pencils but I haven’t got round to it yet as this one has just been working so well for me. I have the shade Chocolate and it is the perfect colour match for my hair extensions. I used to spend so long doing my brows with pomade and pencils just seem to take nowhere near as long!
NARS Audacious Lipstick in Carmen
The reason that this lipstick is in my current beauty faves is because I’ve developed an obsession with a red lip. I’ve always loved reds but honestly, they’re all I’ve been wearing over the past few weeks and I can’t get enough. I got the NARS Audacious Lipstick in the shade Carmen with the Jetsetter Trio from World Duty Free a while ago and I’ve been in love with it ever since! It’s the most gorgeous, flattering red that makes my teeth look super white. It adds a statement to any look and I’ve been wearing it during the day because it’s bold without being too much. I also highly recommend the trio as the other two shades are beaut too.
