The Byrdie Latest in Beauty Box!
I recently received my first box from latest in beauty and I could not be more chuffed with the contents. I’m not really one to buy into the hype of beauty boxes, not because I don’t like the look of them but because to me it’s just another monthly expense and I prefer to save up my pennies and treat myself to things that are on my lust list. Having said that, the fact that I don’t treat myself that often means that it would be really nice to have a box of goodies land on my doorstep once a month, not knowing what’s inside. I do have to say that from all the boxes I’ve seen online, this one has beaten them all by far as it’s literally full to the brim of products and I can’t wait to share them all with you. This months latest in beauty box is in collaboration with Byrdie featuring some of the team’s favourite complexion boosting products. It claims to be the perfect box for a Sunday night pamper sesh and let me tell you, it really is…
Contents:
Stacked Skincare Micro Roller // I’ve never tried a micro roller before but this one retails for $30 and is a full size product. It gently exfoliates the skin after cleansing. I’m intrigued to see if this works for me so I can’t wait to have a go!
Rituals Body Cream // This luxurious body cream from Rituals is included in the box and it’s a pretty decent size too. You get a 70ml bottle and it actually smells insane. I cannot wait to use this after my bath.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix // A lightweight serum from Elemis comes in a teeny 15ml size tube that is supposedly fab for stressed skin. It contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin as well as plumping properties to leave you with fresh morning skin. I don’t own any Elemis skincare and I’ve heard such good things so I can’t wait to give this one a try.
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray // You get a full size bottle of the cult pillow spray from This Works in the box too. If I didn’t already own this I would have been thrilled as I wanted to try this for the longest time. I’m not a huge fan of the lavender scent but if you struggle to sleep then it truly works, I can’t be without it!
Biocol Labs Something For Dreaming // Another full size product for helping with sleep is included in the box too. The Biocol Labs Something For Dreaming is a supplement that you spray under your tongue containing melatonin, passionflower and lemongrass to relax the mind and body before bedtime. I haven’t given this a try yet but sometimes I get so anxious that I can’t sleep to save my life and I am 100% ready to give this a try when that time comes as it’s the most horrible feeling just lying there for hours unable to sleep! Excited to see if it actually works so I will keep you updated.
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist // I’ve tried a couple of things from Omorovicza in the past and loved them all so I was happy to see something new to try in this box! You get a 30ml bottle of the Queen of Hungary mist which is a refreshing and hydrating face mist that can be used at any point in your skincare routine. It has a neroli and rose scent that smells amazing too.
Blink Brow Bar Brow Exfoliator // A full size brow exfoliator is included from Blink Brow Bar that I was very intrigued by. I haven’t used a brow exfoliator before but it’s a fab little product to have handy to buff away dead skin cells and keep everything nice and smooth.
OPI Polish in My Wish List is You // I can never have enough polishes as I paint my nails about 5 times a week so a new one to my collection is always welcome! My Wish List is You is a gorgeous bright red that I’m currently wearing on my nails and love.
Base Lip Solve // Can you ever have enough lip balm though? This little gem claims to prevent coldsores which I don’t really get very often but it’s nice to have a product to try and help them stay away. I’ve been using this for the past few days and it’s keeping my lips nice and soft so it’s a yes from me!
Lore Originals Legend Dry Mask Treatment // A 30ml sachet of a hair mask from Lore Originals comes with the box which contains lots of protein to strengthen hair fibres. It also contains plant oils to add moisture and I can’t wait to treat my dry brittle hair with this bad boy!
REN Ready Steady Glow Tonic // I think this is the product that I was most excited about when opening the box. I’ve been desperate to try REN’s glow tonic for aaaaaages now as I’ve heard such good things and I’m thrilled to finally be able to give it a go! I can’t wait to compare it to the Pixi Glow Tonic.
Origins Flower Fusion Hydrating Lavender Sheet Mask // Whilst I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a massive fan of sheet masks, how can I resist one with packaging this pretty? It contains anti-inflammatory properties to calm the skin as well as a lavender scent to relax the mind. I am planning on using this on Sunday evening as it sounds like the perfect end of the week treat.
Dr Dennis Recovery Peel // You get two treatments of the Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic & Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel. This is an anti-ageing formula that boosts collagen, promotes cell renewal and supports the skin’s natural repair process. It’s a night time treatment that minimises the appearance of wrinkles and combats uneven skin tones which sounds absolutely perfect for me. If I get along with these I will definitely be buying more!
Dr Dennis Recovery Overnight Serum // You also get a 5ml sample of the Dr Dennis Ferulic & Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Overnight Serum that helps combat dry skin and prevent breakouts whilst again minimising the appearance of wrinkles. Another nice little treat to try for my skin.
Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 Cleanser // I’ve never tried anything from Philosophy but I’ve been meaning to for ages now so I can’t wait to give this little cleanser a try. You get a 30ml bottle which is quite a decent amount to be able to give it a good go. It claims to get rid of dirt as well as gently toning the skin and maintaining moisture levels so it sounds like a fab skincare essential.
Living Sea Therapy Bath Salts // I can’t get enough of bath products so it was lovely to see some bath salts in the box! These ones are full of scented essential oils that help ease muscle tension so any gym goers would love these.
So in total you get 16 products from some incredible brands, worth £213 – all for £50. If you fancy treating yourself (and your skin!) you can check the box out here. Have you tried a latest in beauty box before? Do you think you’ll be trying this one?
