Daisy Love...
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love has launched at Fragrance Direct, and as a fan of the original daisy fragrance - I can firmly say that I am an even bigger fan of Daisy Love. I love the packaging of the original fragrance, the three flowers are so cute but there's something a lot more elegant about the singular daisy design, it's a lot more simplified but I love how it looks. Not only that but the scent itself is much sweeter and as a big advocate of sweet scents, I am absolutely in love!
The Packaging
The dinky bottle is adorable and looks so cute on top of my dressing table. I love the MJ Daisy packaging as not only does it make gorgeous decor but they make the prettiest addition to flat lays too! This one is smaller than my other one which means it's even more ideal for adding details to my photos. You don't generally buy a fragrance for the packaging I know, however it definitely encourages the purchase for me, think of all the insta shots...
The Scent
The original daisy fragrance has such a distinctive scent, my sister actually wears mine to work because she's a waitress and it stops her smelling of food all day - her words. Daisy Love is just as powerful and long lasting which makes me extremely happy as I love this scent even more. The floral notes smell like they're injected with a shot of vanilla which really sweetens it up. It reminds me of YSL Black Opium Floral Shock which is one of my all time faves. The key notes of the fragrance are crystalized cloudberries, daisy tree petals, cashmere musks and driftwood. The warm sweet floral scent is so perfect for summer and I've been using it daily since it arrived which says it all considering how many perfumes I own!
