3 face masks you need to try...
If you've been around for a while, then you might already know how partial I am to a good face mask. Recently I've had the same 3 picks on rotation and I am utterly obsessed with all three, so of course, a blog post on the trio had to happen didn't it?! I bought the Origins pick myself after hearing amazing things from fellow blogger gals and the other two were kindly gifted to me - but with no obligation to post about them. So, without further ado, let's find out why I love these little gems so much...
Origins Retexturizing Mask With Rose Clay
We'll start with my favourite overall, and that's the Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay from Origins. I tried out my first products from Origins at the end of last year and fell completely in love with the brand. I saw the retexturizing mask floating around instagram (particularly from Kate La Vie!) and it sounded incredible. I was in John Lewis and walked past the Origins counter so I basically couldn't go home without it. It's a rose clay mask so it's quite thick and dries down to the point where you can't really move your face, you leave it on for 10 mins or so and then wash it off. Easy! I tend to take my makeup off, apply it 10 minutes before hopping in the shower and then washing it off in there. It's super exfoliating and you can feel that when applying it to your skin. It claims to absorb impurities and excess oil, whilst minimising the appearance of pores and honestly - it really, really does. I feel like I have a new face after washing it off. My blackheads reduce massively which is pretty impressive to me, as I struggle to find anything that combats them with my oily skin. My pores reduce in size, and my skin just looks absolutely glowing. If you want to invest in a new face mask that leaves you with incredible skin, you'll be obsessed with this one after one use.
This Works Morning Expert Vitamin C Mask
I'd only ever known This Works for their famous sleep sprays and other lavender infused favourites - until recently. I've been so impressed by their morning expert skincare range and the Vitamin C Mask is a firm fave. It has a gel like consistency so it melts into the skin, but it's enriched with Vitamin C granules that exfoliate the skin. It also contains jojoba and sweet almond oil which is most likely the reason behind the super soft, melty texture. I didn't know something so smooth and oily could be so exfoliating at the same time! It's amazing. I feel like this one is a face lift in a bottle to be honest. My skin instantly has a glow up and looks a couple of years younger after I've used this. It evens out my skin tone and leaves it ultra silky and smooth. I'm obsessed.
Pixi T-Zone Peel Off Mask
A mask designed specifically for the T-Zone area is exactly what I've been missing in my life, let me tell you. I couldn't love the Pixi T-Zone Peel Off Mask more if I tried. As someone who struggles with an extremely oily T-Zone, this little gem of a mask contains a green super food blend that deals with the congested skin that unfortunately comes in tow with having oily skin. It removes excess oils, combats blackheads and other impurities and leaves my skin looking pretty smooth and matte, without being drying. I think it's a must-have pick for any fellow oily/combination skin gal out there and it will be such an essential in the summer months when oiliness is at an all time high!
