Are you looking to improve your blog? You’ve come just to the right place! Running a blog is an exciting hobby, you get to share your life stories, help others with tips and tricks and if it becomes successful enough, you can run a blog as a full-time job – there are many people who start a blog as a way to change their career.
After running a blog for a while, this is a good time to look to improve it to take it to the next level – this is probably why you are reading this right now. There are many ways in which you can improve your blog depending on the budget you have available. Some will use a freelance design agency, others increase the amount they publish in order to bring in more views. Below are three tips for improving your blog
Publish more regularly
In order to run a successful blog, consistency is key. If you are writing posts and publishing once every month or two, then the chances are your views may not be as high as you would like. Instead, put a content calendar together and plan your articles a month in advance. Try to make your calendar realistic in order to make it more achievable. Once a week should be fine and by doing this you’ll see your viewership increase. When writing your posts, don’t just write anything. Make sure it’s thought-provoking, engaging content that will entice your readers to come back each month.
Hire a professional to help
If your budget allows it, turn to a professional to help you with your blog. A freelance design agency will help take your branding to the next level, whilst an SEO expert will help with your rankings. You may be doing the majority of things right, it’s just a small change in your weekly routine that a professional can help you with that could make the difference. Why not use one for a month or two and see if it helps, if they don’t you can always stop using one. Plus, if it does work, often you will find the result happens a lot quicker than if you try to teach yourself.
Improve your social interaction
Social media is so important when it comes to improving your blog. By engaging with your audience, you can increase your following, helping grow your views on your blog. For example, when you post about tips for running in the hot weather, share them on your Twitter, Facebook and Instagram profile. Other social media channels which could generate engagement are Pinterest and Tik Tok. Just like your article schedule, put a social media schedule together so that you don’t forget and stay consistent.
