a magical Christmas with shopDisney...
I think we all love a bit of Disney in our lives and Reuben already owns a hand-me-down Mickey Mouse from my first trip to Disneyland as a child but that Mickey could do with some friends - so when shopDisney sent over a box full of goodies, I couldn't wait for Ru to open them. The goodies they sentΒ over are perfect for the big day that's upon us and I packed them all up in the gorgeous Mickey sack and let Ru open them as an early Christmas treat...
The Disney sacks are perfect for filling with presents and putting under the tree - you can also get these personalised which makes them extra special and something that can be used over and over again. I bought Ru a personalised Santa sack last year and we're using it again this year so they definitely get their use. They're super handy for storing Christmas decorations in throughout the year too, so they have many fab uses!
I think Reubens favourite (and mine!) from the little selection has to be the personalised Mickey Mouse, it has his name on the bottom of Mickeys left foot and this will be a toy that will be treasured for many Christmas' and years to come. It's such a lovely teddy to sit in his room, but also makes such a precious keepsake too. We're also both big fans of the Stitch too, he comes in a Christmas hat and Christmas jumper that lights up at the press of a button and it adds a really fun touch to a soft toy. Definitely one that's likely to keep toddlers entertained for while...
Ru loved opening the sack to two Disney Christmas baubles, the first thing he wanted to do was hang them on the tree (which is why I sat him next to it to open the gifts!) and it was super cute. He still loves going to the tree to find his own little decorations. He was overjoyed when he opened the sack to find a new Mickey cup too, he always has a favourite cup to drink out of and this one quickly made it's way to steal the top spot as it lights up! Perfect for at night time when your little one wakes up and is trying to find their juice - which happens to us most nights. Thanks Disney!
They also included a little Christmas jumper with Mickey Mouse on that I can't wait for Ru to wear over the festive period. We're at my parents overnight for Christmas so this will be the perfect cosy knit to put him on either on Christmas or Boxing day to keep him warm and comfy. Isn't it so cute?! We also have a huge soft cosy throw that is absolutely heavenly - it's like touching silk. I've been wrapping Ru up in it every evening since it arrived as it's so big and cosy for these super cold evenings we're having. I'll take this to my parents with us too over Christmas as it's a sleepover essential!
Ru is so pleased with his new Christmassy bits and it's lovely for him to have some festive toys to play with during the lead up to Christmas day. It helps keep the magic alive by not waiting to leave everything until the actual day I feel as it's over so quickly. I think we should try and prolong Christmas for as long as we can and this sack of goodies has done exactly that. Disney have some beautiful toys for Christmas this year and it's not too late to grab some personalised gifts for your family and loved ones. You can head over to their Christmas shop to browse!
What do you think to these Disney picks? Are you in the festive spirit yet?
