Celebrating Valentine's Day with Boots.

How to celebrate Valentine's Day...
We now live in very modern times where celebrations such as Valentine's Day don't have to be the typical flowers, chocolates and cards. Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate the people you love, be that your partner, your children, your parents, siblings, friends... absolutely anyone that you like. A lot of people think we don't need a specific day to show those we love just how much we love them, but I say why not? It's the perfect excuse to give gifts to all of your favourite people and make some exciting plans to look forward to.
There are so many different ways in which you can spend Valentine's Day, and Boots have the perfect selection of Valentine's Day Gifts to help you celebrate with the most important people in your life. I've picked out a few bits from the Boots gift guide to share with you in case you're in need of a little inspo!

Valentine's Day gifts for her
Boots have some fab products in their Valentine's Gifts for Her guide, which you can utilise in lots of different ways. There are some beautiful fragrance options which would be the perfect option if you have an evening out or dinner date planned. The Givenchy L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is the ultimate treat and is to die for. It's a super sophisticated and feminine scent with delicate sweet floral notes - not to mention that the pretty ruby red bottle that it comes in looks like a Valentines match made in heaven. I also love YSL Black Opium which has really sweet vanilla notes if you love that kind of thing.
If you're going for a Galentine's evening in with your gal pals, you could put together a little pamper basket for yourself and your friends to enjoy together, or you could put one together and wrap it up as a gift for your bestie. This is one of my favourite ideas as I love putting little hampers together, it's so much more fun than buying someone a single gift. Some of my favourite choices are the Imperial Leather Pampering Bath Soak in Mallow & Rose Milk, the Botanics Vitamin C Glow Sheet Mask, the Baylis & Harding Goodness Rose & Geranium Bath Soak and the Versed Brightening Tightening Mask. You could also throw in the Soap & Glory Quick Drying Hair Turban and a Mylee Gel Polish for a fresh manicure which rounds off the little pamper set nicely!
If you're the kind of girl, or buying for one that loves getting glammed up, there are lots of beauty products on offer too. These would come in handy for an evening in or out, as we all love to feel pretty don't we?! I love the Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette which is a really affordable eyeshadow palette but full of a beautiful array of shades, the NYX Butter Glosses and the Maybelline Hyaluronic Pumping Lip Glosses. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the shades in the glosses, they're all gorgeous and complement every skin tone.

Valentine's Day gifts for him
If you're looking for gifts for the men in your life, Boots also have a great selection of Valentine's Gifts for Him too, from fragrances, experience vouchers, grooming tools and lots more. The Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau de Parfum is an incredibly luxe treat, as well as the Hugo Boss Bottled. They are both seriously divine scents. I know that my partner Jake likes to be well groomed and there's loads of lovely little sets like the Wahl Classic Edition Clipper Gift Set and lots of Clinique For Men Skincare options. If they'd be more appreciative of something like an experience voucher, there are overnight getaways, comedy nights, steam train experiences, and even a vineyard tour to have a look at!
I'm thinking about putting together a little Valentine's hamper for my six year old, and he loves a bubble bath so I'll most likely include lots of pamper fillers for him alongside some sweet treats. If you have older boys, the fragrances and skincare sets would make for some really nice gifts for them.
How are you celebrating Valentine's Day this year? Are you celebrating with a partner, your pals or maybe even a nice evening with the family?
