So over the past few weeks, I’ve treated myself to some new beauty bits, that I didn’t necessarily need but they are things that have been on my wish list for a long time and I just finally decided to cave and get them. I didn’t buy them all in one go so they were spread out a bit, I was just waiting until I had a sufficient amount of new things to incorporate into a blog post! I also got a couple of things from Topshop Beauty but I uploaded those into a separate post rather that including them in this one. I was going to make this an October Favourites post, but I never did one last month so I’m just going to skip those from now on I think, I feel pressured to have one ready at the end of every month so I’d rather just do the odd haul or favourites post when I have a collection of new stuff. Anyway on to my new beauty bits!
Valentino Donna Fragrance
This was by far my biggest splurge of the month, it’s a perfume that I smelt a sample of in an issue of Elle magazine and I fell in love with it and have been wanting it ever since. It’s so ridiculously expensive though, Β£48 for this tiny 30ml bottle, but honestly, it smells absolutely amazing! I am saving this for special occasions so that it lasts me a long time because I definitely can’t afford to keep buying this all the time aha! I’ve never bought myself an expensive perfume before, so that’s how I justified buying this, I know that more expensive perfumes last absolutely ages because you don’t need to spray as much and the scent lingers for longer, so I’m sure it will balance out.
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer
I can’t even remember when I fell in love with this highlighter, I’ve been wanting it for so so long and I’ve never got myself it because I’ve always had other highlighters to use up. But I was feeling stressed, and buying myself new makeup always makes me feel better, so I took a look at my makeup wish list (yes I actually wrote one) and I picked this off it to buy myself. I am absolutely in love with it, honestly, I thought that Charlotte Tilbury’s Bronze & Glow was the highlighter for me, but no, as much as I love that one, this one is miles miles better. I’ve started using this on a daily basis, it just gives the prettiest glow!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
I owned a couple of NYX soft matte lip creams a long time ago and I wore them virtually everyday, I loved them that much. But for some reason, I never repurchased them and they got left behind, and then I saw them on the feel unique website, and I decided to order a couple of new shades. I’m so glad I did because they’re just such an amazing product, they’re so easy to apply and they shape your lips without you having to use a lip liner beforehand which is such a timesaver, as well as the fact that they are matte and long lasting. I picked up the shades Stockholm & Antwerp, Stockholm is a really gorgeous nude shade, perfect for everyday wear, and Antwerp is more of a vibrant coral shade that I will probably wear on nights out or if I’m feeling like wearing a bit of a bolder lip. I really love both of these shades, Stockholm is definitely my new favourite nude lipstick!
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers
These were on my August wish list if anyone remembers, I’ve been after a pair of eyelash curlers that are rose gold for a while. I just think they’re so pretty and I do love me some rose gold. There wasn’t any other purpose of buying these other than for the rose gold part, but they do actually happen to be the best pair of eyelash curlers I’ve owned, they do an amazing job, I highly recommend this brand!
Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo On & On Bronze
I’ve never really been a fan of cream makeup products as my oily skin just doesn’t get on with them well, but after reading millions of reviews on the maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo shadows, I had to have one. I saw them in Boots the other day and decided to pick one up, of course it had to be the famous On & On Bronze shade as it’s by far the nicest in the collection! I honestly love this product, it’s so easy to just swipe on your eyelids, especially on days where you can’t really be bothered to spend ages blending out eyeshadows. It looks so pretty too, you really can’t go wrong with this product, whether you’re a pro at eye makeup or not.
Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
And finally, I have been wanting a new liquid eyeliner for quite some time, and after watching a YouTube video, can’t remember who’s, on some high quality eyeliners, I decided to get this one. It is honestly, by far, the best liquid eyeliner in the entire world. If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know how much I love a good cat eye, and this brush creates the most flawless wing! The formula is also completely budge-proof, I struggle to get it off when removing my makeup! Yeah this is just hands down the most amazing liquid eyeliner and even if you’re not that great with eyeliner, you will just get on so well with this because of the brush. It’s a firm staple in my makeup collection now!
Hope you liked this haul! Anything you guys have bought recently that you absolutely love?
