Today I’m sharing a few goodies I’ve got from Fragrance Direct…
Fragrance Direct is one of the best beauty destinations to shop online, their discounted prices beat most other retailers and they sell so many popular brands. A few of my favourites include NARS, Estee Lauder, NYX, Nuxe, Clinique, MAC and Essie. A lot of people assume that they just sell Fragrance due to the name, but the amount of different beauty products on there is insane. They also sell makeup, hair products, skincare and other things like bath & body products. The prices of their Essie polishes are unbeatable! Not only are their prices super affordable, but they also have student discount all year round. You can find the link to their UniDays page here if you’d like to grab yourself some bargains! So moving onto the haul, I’m going to show you some of the things that I picked up recently… (spoiler: I’m in love with everything.)
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk // £15.85
If you read my blog often, you’ll know I’m ALWAYS using different cleansers. I never stick to the same one as I love trying out different ones and I like to mix it up a bit. The most recent one I’ve been using is this one from Clinique which I absolutely love. The reason I picked it up was because I’m always hearing good things about it around the blogosphere and it definitely hasn’t disappointed. I don’t use it to remove eye makeup as I use a separate remover for that but for removing the rest of my face (including my brows) it’s perfect. It cleanses everything off with ease and I can usually just apply it and use a couple of cotton pads to remove it with before hopping in the shower! I’ve had zero breakouts since I started using this so it gets a thumbs up from me.
NUXE Dry Oil Golden Shimmer // £34.00
I got SO excited when I saw that Fragrance Direct stocked NUXE, I had no idea before and I couldn’t believe it when I saw this oil. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this and the lip balm for absolutely ages and I finally had the chance so I’m a very happy girl. I will admit that I don’t think it has the nicest scent, which is quite disappointing considering the lip balm smells amazing… BUT, it gives my skin a gorgeous glow. The scent doesn’t put me off since you can’t smell it once it’s applied and you can also mix this in with a moisturiser or body lotion and I usually use a scented one anyway. It’s absolutely perfect for the summer months or if you have tan skin in general. I fake tan quite often now so if I ever have my arms and legs out, this oil makes my skin look so beautiful and glowing. I absolutely cannot wait to use this on holiday when I have my legs out!
NUXE Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm // £9.50
I’ve been desperate to get hold of this little gem for so long, I really don’t know why I didn’t sooner. Quite a few of my favourite beauty blogs have raved about this so often that it’s been on my wish list for the longest time. Anyway, I have finally got myself a little pot of it and I don’t think I’ll ever turn back. Like I said above, it smells absolutely incredible and is so pleasant to apply to the lips. It’s genuinely like applying a thick moisturiser to my lips which just feels fantastic. I suffer with incredibly dry lips all year round and ever since I started using this on a daily basis, they have been as soft as anything – I’m absolutely hooked!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Moisture Rich Night Cream // £7.99
I’ve been running low on my night moisturisers as I tend to slather it on so my skin is nice and hydrated in the morning, and the latest addition to my collection is this one from Palmer’s. It’s quite a thick cream, which I prefer in night creams and it has a really lovely scent. It’s SO hydrating, I can’t even tell you. I’ve been using this on a morning as well as a night quite recently just because of how nice it makes my skin feel. If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know I swear by the Clinique Moisture Surge, but for a fraction of the price, I’d say this one is almost as good. I really recommend this if you have dry skin and need that extra bit of hydration, it’s amazing for the price!
NYX Powder Blush in ‘Peach’ // £2.99
I’ve been using the NYX Ombre Blush for quite a few weeks now as it’s become a staple in my routine, but since picking this little number up, it’s soon replaced it. I honestly have such an obsession with blush, I don’t even wear that much of it, I just love adding that little bit of colour to my cheeks. This blush looks so bright in the pan but it actually adds the prettiest amount of pink to the apples of my cheeks and I’m obsessed! I think it’s more pink toned than peach toned like the name would suggest, but it’s still absolutely beautiful. For such an affordable price, it’s an absolute steal too!
L’Oreal Collection Exclusive Lipstick in ‘Naomi’s Delicate Rose’ // £2.99
This is another steal with an unbeatable price, this lipstick is so so gorgeous. I had another lipstick from this collection in a different shade and I absolutely loved it, but this new shade is on another level. It’s a very light shade in the most beautiful pink/coral shade and I’m just in love. It’s so creamy to apply and can be worn fairly sheer or built up for a more intense colour. For the price, this lipstick is a must have in every girls collection!
NARS Semi Matte Lipstick in ‘Catfight’ // £21.00
This little babe has got to be my favourite addition of all, look how beautiful that shade is?! This is my favourite type of lipstick because it’s super duper creamy and moisturising to apply, yet it dries down into a semi-matte so that it lasts for hours on my lips. Like I said before, I have really dry lips so drying lipsticks are a no-no for me, but I also like to wear a lipstick that dries down and lasts for a good few hours. This formula makes this lipstick absolutely perfect for me and I need to buy more ASAP.
