Charlotte Tilbury is the brand of the month!
This month, Charlotte Tilbury is Cult Beauty's brand of the month - this means free worldwide shipping on everything Tilbs on the Cult Beauty website. Who isn't obsessed with all things Charlotte Tilbs, and what a perfect excuse to treat yourself right?! I always get the most flawless baseΒ when I do a full face of Tilbury, the products are just so dreamy. Today I'm chatting about all my favourite CT products to give you a bit of inspo on what to buy...
Charlotte's Genius Magic Powder
New to my stash is the Genius Magic Powder which is just incredible if you hate powders that make your face feel all caked. It's so finely milled that it doesn't even feel like you're applying powder and it just melts into the skin rather than sitting on top of it. I feel like this is a great powder for those with combination skin as it isn't drying at all and only slightly mattifies, leaving the skin looking glowing. I think the best way to describe it is as a very natural powder for those that don't like their makeup looking or feeling heavy.
Wonderglow
I rave about the Wonderglow Primer fairly often, if you're a regular around here then you'll know how much I love it already. It's incredible for creating a flawless and glowy base, it quite literally blurs your skin covering up all your pores and imperfections. My foundation always goes on like an absolute dream after I've applied this, it's definitely my favourite primer to use in my entire collection.
Filmstar Bronze & Glow
I've had my Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette from Tilbs for so, so long now and it's still one of my favourites. It's such a natural bronzer and highlight for everyday wear, leaving my skin with more definition and with a lovely healthy glow. I love how both powders are buildable too, so you can build it up dependant on what you're feeling, whether that be extremely natural or very contoured with all the glow!
Lipsticks
I have quite the collection of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks now, and it's so hard to narrow down my favourites so I've chosen three that I think are staples in any girls lipstick stash. My first pick is Walk of Shame from the Matte Revolution range which is the perfect berry tone for any occasion. If you love wearing deeper lipsticks during the colder months then this is ideal as it's a lovely red berry shade without being too bold and it's just so easy to wear. I find it's one of those reds that looks really good on a daily basis rather than best being saved for special events. My second would have to be Bitch Perfect from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, which has a lustre finish and is a lovely formula for those that suffer with quite dry lips like I do. It isn't as long lasting because of this, but it's so effortless to apply that I generally just keep it in my handbag for any top ups I may need! Bitch Perfect is my favourite nude lip for everyday wear as it's pink based and goes with every makeup look like a dream. My third pick is Penelope Pink, another from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range with a lustre finish. I love Penelope Pink because its a very peach based nude that looks fab on it's own with pretty much any eye look, but also because it goes on top of all other lipsticks beautifully. My favourite way to wear it is to pair it with a smokey eye - it looks the absolute bomb, trust me!
Eyeshadow Quads
For a do it all, luxury eyeshadow palette, the Charlotte Tilbury quads are perfect. You get two deeper shades, perfect for the crease and then a glitter for the lid, as well as a shimmery highlight. They are versatile enough that they can be worn day to day, as well as jazzed up for the night life. The two quads that I own are Dolce Vita and Vintage Vamp. I've owned Vintage Vamp for the longest, ever since last Christmas I believe! I'm pretty sure I wore it on Christmas Day last year as the shades are perfect for the festive season, especially the beautiful gold glitter that comes with it. I love the pressed glitter included in this quad as it can be worn over anything to add that summin' extra to a makeup look. The latest quad I own is the Dolce Vita which I've had my eye on for absolutely ages and now I finally have it in my stash! If you're as obsessed with bronze eyes like I am, then this one is a must have. The bronze-y glitter included in this quad is my new favourite to wear on a daily basis - it's such a beaut!
Lip Cheat
If you love defined lips then I really recommend trying out the Lip Cheat. I have the shade Pillow Talk which is the perfect shade to go, not only with the matching lipstick, but with all nude lipstick shades. It actually looks gorgeous on it's own too and is so creamy and easy to apply. I find a lot of lip pencils can be so drying but the CT Lip Cheats aren't at all which is why I rate them!
Rock 'n' Kohl
A product I highly rate from Charlotte Tilbs is the Rock 'n' Kohl pencils. I have two shades of this eye pencil, Barbarella Brown and Bedroom Black. I can't do my makeup without lining my upper lash line as it makes my lashes look so much fuller and just brings my entire eye look together. The CT Rock 'n' Kohl is the best eyeliner I've ever tried in terms of just staying put all day long without smudging or disappearing. I cannot recommend it enough if you always use an eye pencil, it's incredible.
Eyes to Mesmerise
I love cream eyeshadows for those easy go-to looks as they're just so easy to apply and swipe across the lid with your finger and minimal blending. The CT Eyes to Mesmerise are some of my faves as the formula is unlike any other I've tried, it's literally like what I can only describe as whipped cream. It's not thick in the slightest and is such a creamy formula but it dries down to a crease-resistant finish and lasts all day long. I really recommend going into a Charlotte Tilbury store or stopping by a counter if you can, just to swatch them as I was so surprised by the formula compared to other cream shadows and I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you're yet to try them! My favourite shades include Rose Gold and Star Gold which I believe were limited edition unfortunately - but stunning nonetheless, so hopefully they're brought back. I also love Mona Lisa which is described as a 'chocolate bronze' - it's quite deep but it's perfect for a smokey eye and looks gorgeous paired with the Penelope Pink lipstick. It's a bronze with quite a red tone to it which I think will be ideal for the Autumn months so I'll have to maybe do a look with it so you can see it on. I've got my eye on the shade Marie Antoinette for my next cream shadow purchase, it's described as an 'oyster gold' and it looks like a beautiful gold tone for everyday wear!
So those are my top Charlotte Tilbs picks, do you think you'll be taking advantage of the free worldwide shipping on Cult Beauty this month?
