At a time when the world seems to have been turned upside down, many people are stressed and worried about their futures, their jobs, their children, and their parents. Other people are alone, and others are unwell, so it’s not surprising that some people need a little cheering up. If you know someone who is struggling during this time or celebrating a birthday at home alone, then here are six great ideas for quarantine gifts.
A Good Book
It’s hard to say what book you could get someone as it’s down to their personality. But right now, when people have the time to read, or perhaps you know someone who needs some hope and a book like ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul‘ would really help them. Either get your friend a really good story you know that they will love as it will keep them occupied and give them some escapism. Alternatively, you could give your friend a challenge, send them a book about something they want to learn about or something that can help them get through quarantine.
Photos
If your loved ones can’t see you and your family in person, then send them some nice photos of you all. It doesn’t have to be just normal photos either, you could send a calendar or a photo keyring, or buy your beloved a personalized photo phone case?
A Home Spa Package
You could look online for hampers full of nice bubble baths, bath salts, and treatments or simply make your own with all your friend’s favorite pampering bits. You can simply do an online order and get it delivered to their house.
Alcohol
Many people are indulging right now with food and drink – and why not? There’s not much else to look forward to. If you know someone who loves a drink, then cheer them up with a bottle of something special. At least they’ll have a good night courtesy of you, even if you can’t be there.
Custom Pet Portraits
Cherish you pets with a custom pet portrait, add some personal touch to your home decoration. It’s easy! All you need is to pick your favorite photo(s) and send to us, and we’ll hand in the best piece of art to make you smile.
A Neck massager
Perhaps you know someone who lives alone and doesn’t have the luxury of asking their partner to give them a neck rub during this stressful time. If so, why not surprise them with the delivery of a nice neck massager to help them relax and make them feel good.
Any surprise delivery will likely cheer someone up at this time, and you don’t have to spend a fortune to do it. It’s important that we all keep communicating at this time and sending gifts is one way to do this, even if it’s something homemade by the kids.
