It's been ages since I treated myself to some bits from Lush and I thought I'd go totally old school and round them up in a blog post... we all love some Lush treats right?! I decided to make a little order as I was just feeling in need of some pampering and you can't go wrong with the gorgeous bits they do, they make my bathroom smell heavenly! My favourite Lush products are actually the bubble bars but I decided to try some things that I wouldn't usually buy myself along with an all time favourite...
Rose Jam Shower Gel
The all time favourite of mine is obviously the Rose Jam Shower Gel - does anyone not like this? It smells absolutely dreamy and a shower gel is always a must have. I do think it's a little expensive but it's nice for a treat every now and again. I'm just addicted to the scent. I don't overuse bath products as I suffer with eczema so I find a nice bottle like this lasts me a decent amount of time!
Rose Lollipop Lip Balm
I picked the Rose Lollipop Lip Balm up on a whim as it sounded nice and my lips tend to get really dry in winter anyway so I'm always in need of a lip balm in arms reach... and I'm obsessed! Usually at this time of year, I really struggle to steer clear of dry lips but lately they've been so soft thanks to this beaut. It smells so nice too.
Sugar Plum Shower Bomb
I wouldn't usually opt for a shower bomb but I was definitely taken in by the Christmas collection and the Sugar Plum Shower Bomb doesn't disappoint. I haven't actually used this one yet but I know it'll make for a dreamy shower.
Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb
I almost didn't pick up the Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb but thought I'd throw it in as well to be a bit more festive. It smells like almonds and it's to die for, again I haven't used it yet but I can't wait!
I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas Bath Bomb
Admittedly, I don't usually opt for bath bombs as I hate that they're just a one time thing and I prefer to get more for my money like with bubble bars... however since this was a little treat I decided to pick up the I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas Bath Bomb (who came up with this ridiculously long name?). The description was that it smells like raspberries and almonds and gives you purple starry waters in your bath and well that just sells it doesn't it?! I can't wait to relax in a bath with this one.
Buffy Body Butter
I suffer with really dry and itchy skin so when I saw the Buffy Body Butter and read how it scrubs away dead skin cells leaving you with super soft and buttery skin... I just had to give it a try. I've used this a few times so far and it really is as dreamy as it sounds, it leaves your skin covered in cocoa and shea butter and it's heavenly! When I'm having a bad time with my skin, it really helps without irritating and I'd really recommend this to anyone that loves a body scrub. It's so easy to use too as you just move the bar across your skin rather than having to dip into a tub of body scrub.
Golden Pear Soap
I always love smelling the soaps when entering a Lush store but rarely pick one up as I'm definitely more of a bottled soap kinda gal. I decided to pick up the Golden Pear Soap to stick in my bathroom to make it smell all festive and it's worked a treat, so delicious - and pretty too!
Grease Lightning Spot Treatment
I was definitely sold on the Grease Lightning Spot Treatment after reading reviews, they all raved about it! When I received my Lush order and shared this one on Instagram, I was inundated with messages about what a miracle worker it is and I can confirm it really is. Pop this on a breakout (even those pesky under the skin ones) and it's gone down or disappeared overnight. I can't imagine any of us wants breakouts to stay around for longer than necessary so if your skin is quite acne prone then I would really recommend this gem.
Tea Tree Toner Tab
The Tea Tree Toner tab really intrigued me, I know how good tea tree is for my combination skin so I thought I'd give this a whirl. It's literally just a little tab that you pop in a bowl of boiling water, sit your face over it with a towel on your head and let your skin soak up all of the benefits. I used it quite quickly after it arrived as I wanted to see if it helped my skin and I wouldn't say it was a miracle worker but it was a lovely treat!
Have you bought anything from Lush lately?
