It is Okay to Ask for Help
You are not expected to know everything at once. Therefore you should seek out help when you need it, which will strengthen your character in the long run. People who never ask for help continue to learn through school but slowly, while those brave enough to try their hand in asking for help always come back with something new under their belt.
While you may feel embarrassed about having a hard time learning something new, there’s no shame in doing so because everyone else did too at one point in their life.
Start Making Friends

You have been working towards getting into the best college you can find, and you’ve finally gotten accepted to that top school you wanted. However, you start to think about life after high school, and you begin feeling anxious versus excited for your future.
Take this time to slow down and take a breath. Then, sit back in your chair, close your eyes, and remind yourself of all the hard work you put in over the past four years. Remembering the countless number of hours you spent studying will help you feel confident in your choices when it comes time to decide which major you want to concentrate on while attending college.
