My current beauty favourites from Very...
Very is one of my favourite retailers because they sell anything and everything, including lots of my favourite beauty brands. I love nothing more than a beauty restock, filling my bathroom cabinet with lots of goodies is the best, especially when I make the time for an everything pamper on a Sunday afternoon and have lots and lots of choice!
Today I'm sharing a round up of the new beauty staples I've added to my collection recently, all readily available at Very.
Elemis Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil
I love a cleansing oil for my dry skin and the Elemis Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil is a super dreamy one. It nourishes the skin whilst cleansing away makeup and impurities to leave your skin really cleansed, and ultra smooth. It's formulated with over 90% of natural oils including chia seed oils, as well as pomegranate which is super rich in vitamins. I always love how luxurious Elemis skincare feels, and this cleansing oil is no exception.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Nourishing Essentials
I've repurchased the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Nourishing Essentials so many times, they really are such a treat for your skin. The Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick is one of the best lip balms I've used, it's so hydrating and I always apply it right before bed, and wake up with ultra-soft lips. It's a god send, particularly over the winter months! The Eight Hour Skin Protectant Cream is amazing for any dry areas on your skin and relieves any irritation, which I find vital as someone with eczema-prone skin. And you also get the famous Eight Hour Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment which is my bedside table staple after a day of cleaning up after my young children. The set makes it such good value for money, as the products bought separately add up to £65.
Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint
If you're like me, and you're a fan of a makeup routine that leaves you looking clean and polished, but isn't heavy and is fairly effortless to apply - then you'll love the Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint. It's new to my makeup routine, but has quickly become a staple product. It's really lightweight with buildable coverage, and a small amount of this on a morning, gives me a light coverage whilst blurring all of my imperfections and disguising any redness I have. It has a semi-satin finish so it's not at all drying or flat in appearance, but it gives an almost no makeup-makeup look which I love.
Olaplex Lashbond Building Serum
Olaplex is famous for their amazing haircare range, so I had to try out their Lashbond Building Serum too. I do swear by a good eyelash serum and this one is easy to apply and seems to be making a good impact on my lashes so far. I'm not a fan of false lashes and I stopped getting lash extensions done when they ruined my natural lashes, so I'm all about maintaining and looking after my natural lashes these days. I'm going to keep using this serum daily and hope I continue to see good results!
L'OCCITANE Almond Infused Shower Oil
The L'OCCITANE Almond Infused Shower Oil is one of my favourite ever shower oils, it's so dreamy and silky to apply and the almond scent is just gorgeous. It always fills the bathroom with the scent whenever I use it, and I even had my eldest son ask to use it the other day as he wondered what the amazing smell in the bathroom was! I can safely say it's a family favourite and it's so good for keeping your skin cleansed and hydrated.
Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo
Olaplex No.4 is my favourite Olaplex product, it's a bond maintenance shampoo that hydrates and nourishes your hair whilst cleansing it. It's suitable for hair that's exposed to frequent colouring, bleaching, heat and chemical treatments, and helps to protect against breakage. My hair needs this as I get it coloured and toned almost every month, as well as style it with straighteners almost daily. I need a really good shampoo that helps to keep my hair in good condition and I swear by this one, I always have such soft and smooth hair post-shower after I've washed it, it's incredible!
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Extra Strength
I've never been huge on using hair products before drying, as I've always been prone to greasy hair, but the COLOR WOW Dream Coat changed everything for me on that stance. It's perfect for locking in moisture whilst you blow-dry your hair, and is completely non-greasy. It has a waterproof technology that keeps hair frizz-free for up to three shampoos, and it just generally helps keep your hair looking and feeling really smooth. I have really fine hair that's so prone to frizz, and the COLOR WOW Dream Coat is just an absolute game changer.
