I haven’t used any Makeup Revolution products for a while, or blogged an eye makeup look, so I decided to do one using a MR eyeshadow palette. I used the ‘Awesome Eyeshadow Collection’ palette which is quite a big eyeshadow palette with various different shades from neutrals to bold bright shades. This is my little sisters but I think it’s such good value for money, and there are some really pigmented glittery shades in there too that I would love to try out as well! The only thing about this palette is that none of the shades are named, so I’ll circle which ones I used for this look incase any of you have this palette and want to try it out for yourself. It’s a really simple look but I love that it looks like I’ve used a high end palette when you can pick this up for £12, and it has 100 different shades!
So I used 5 different shades from this palette for this look, I was aiming to go light from the inner corner to really dark and smokey in the outer corner.
The first shade I used was the light brown at the top, I blended this from the centre of my lid into my crease. I then took the slightly warmer brown from the fourth row down and applied this also in the centre of my lid as well as under my bottom lash line. For the smoked outer corner, I took the dark brown from the second row down and mixed it with the tiniest bit of black and applied it in my outer corner. For the light inner corner, I used the shimmery champagne shade from the second row down, this is an absolutely gorgeous shade, it reminds me of a lighter version of ‘Marzipan’ from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. To highlight my brow bone and the very inner corners of my eyes, I used the shimmery white shade from the fourth row down, this is very similar to my Mac Vanilla pigment which is my absolute fave!
For my liner, I used my beloved Barry M Liquid Eyeliner, and I’m also wearing ‘Pixie Luxe’ lashes from House of Lashes with Sigma’s Structural Lashes Mascara. And for my brows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Ebony.
And that’s how I got this look! I absolutely love this palette, and I can’t believe how pigmented the shades are for the price of it, I had no fall out either! Definitely pick one up if you’re looking for a versatile palette that’s also affordable 🙂
