I’ve finally uploaded another makeup look to my blog! It’s about time right?! The last one was almost 2 months ago oops. I have more time to do posts like these now that I’ve officially finished with uni and I have so many looks planned, I’m excited to experiment. This look is completely drugstore apart from one teeny tiny product (my brows) as I don’t have a drugstore alternative for them, sorry! I’ve been meaning to get a drugstore brow product for ages but just haven’t got around to it yet. Anyways the rest of my makeup is drugstore and I love this eye makeup look so I’m verrrrry impressed with these products. Here’s what I used:
Base;
I used my Boots Tea Tree Shine Control Day Moisturiser to moisturise, this helps to controls my oil as well as moisturising any dry areas. I primed my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer which instantly mattifies my face, it’s so good.
Under my eyes I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair and then I applied my Loreal True Match Foundation in N1 Ivory (the old formula.) I set my face with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent.
Bronzer, Contour & Highlight;
To bronze, I used the Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar and the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit to contour my nose & cheek bones. For my highlight I used the white highlight shade in the MR Golden Sugar Blush Palette as well as ‘Subsolar’ from the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette.
Eyebrows;
Like I said above, I don’t have a drugstore product for my brows so I used my beloved Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Ebony which is well worth investing in!
Eyes;
To prime my eyes I used the NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer which is a good alternative to the UD Eyeshadow Primer. And for my eyeshadow I used the Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette. I used the shades ‘Way’ & ‘Adorable’ to highlight my brow bone and ‘Sweet Shop’ in the crease. I then used ‘Sugar’ & ‘Frosted Choc’ on my lid and ‘Sweet Shop’ & ‘Frosted Choc’ under my bottom lash line. For the inner corners of my eyes I used the Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eye Foil in Rose Gold – how gorgeous is this?! I’m in love, new fave product.
I then lined my upper lash line using the Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Jet Black and I used my Barry M Liquid Eyeliner for the wing. I used the Maybelline Lash Sensational to coat my top & bottom lashes and I’m wearing a pair of Red Cherry Lashes.
Lips;
I lined my lips with the Loreal Couture Lipliner in 630 Beige and used my Rimmel Kate Lipstick in the shade 38 topped with my NYX Lip Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee.
And that’s everything I used for this look, all drugstore except my brows! Hope you liked this look 🙂
