My favourite everyday glowy look…
During the winter I went off highlight and glowy complexions and right now I cannot for the life of me understand why as I’m obsessed with them! Maybe it’s the spring time inspiring me to glow but I’m loving a dewy base with highlighted cheek bones and sparkly eyes, finished off with a pretty pink lip. Today I’m going to share my current go to products to achieve exactly that!
Base
I find the key to a glowy base to be the perfect primer and my current favourite combination is the Stila One Step Correct with Wonder Glow from Charlotte Tilbury. The Stila offering helps hide all of my redness and evens out the tone of my skin whilst Wonder Glow does exactly what it says on the bottle and gives me alllllll the glow. It also adds a blurring effect to my skin leaving it looking pretty flawless so my foundation applies like a dream.
I’ve been covering up my dark under eye circles with the Collection Concealer which is cheap and cheerful. On a day to day basis it’s perfect as my dark circles are pretty weak these days since I have a toddler who loves sleep – lucky me I know! For my foundation I’ve been loving the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, it has amazing coverage and leaves me with a beaut dewy finish without accentuating my oiliness. Without a doubt my new favourite drugstore base.
Colour
For bronzer, I’m still very attached to the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette, it’s my absolute fave. I’m pretty sure I’m going to hit pan soon I use it that much. I tend to bronze my cheeks, jaw line and forehead with this and then I go in with the Benefit Gold Rush Blush most days for a peachy touch to my cheeks. For highlight I like to switch it up so all my favourites get used but I think the one that I’ve been using mostly lately has been the Too Faced Candlelight Glow in warm glow which is just gorge!
Eyes
I’m still using the BrowGal Eyebrow Pencil in chocolate on my brows which is running low so I’m on the lookout for another if you have any recommendations! I always comb through my brows with the Glossier Brow Boy in brown afterwards which is also running low and I need to repurchase asap as this is by far the best brow gel I have ever used! It pairs perfectly with a brow pencil.
I always prime my lids with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and for the look in this post, I used the matte brown shades from the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette in my crease and under my lower lash line. For my main lid colour, I used the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in rose gold which is one of their new limited edition shades and it’s gorgeous. I like to add an extra sparkle most days so I let that set and then went in with the Bobbi Brown Sparkle Stick in rose quartz for that extra somethin’ somethin’. I always finish off my eyes by lining my upper lash line with the Charlotte Tilbury Rock n’ Kohl Liner in bedroom black and my holy grail mascara is of course, Maybelline Lash Sensational.
Lips
I love wearing pretty pinky nudes on a daily basis and for this particular look I went with a new pick of mine which is MAC Modesty, however another firm favourite of mine is Kinda Sexy which I’ve been wearing religiously lately!
