Gift Guide: Luxury…
Another gift guide installation this year is the luxury gifts! I think this is my favourite gift guide yet as it’s full of so many gorgeous treats. I’ve treated myself to a fair few things this year as I think it’s nice to have some rewards when you work really hard – it can’t be all work and no play can it?! I was inspired to put together a luxury gift guide for those that might fancy a couple of big purchases on their Christmas list this year rather than lots of little ones, something I generally prefer myself as I think Christmas is the perfect excuse when you can’t justify it at any other time of the year. Even if you just want to spoil the lucky lady in your life, then this gift guide is full of ideas. Luxury is a hard one to put a price on as what’s ‘luxury’ to someone else, might not be to someone with more money in the bank, so I’ve tried to put together a collection of luxury picks all varying in price. So, without further ado, if you fancy reading more about these gorge gift guide picks, then keep scrolling…
The New MacBook Air…
I’ve been in desperate need of a new laptop for over a year now and a couple of weeks ago I finally decided to make the splurge. They’re quite a pricey investment but if you use it for everything (and run a business from it!) like I do then it’s totally worth it. My last one lasted me five whole years, saw me all the way through Uni (studying Graphic Design!) and is still going strong and in perfect working order – it’s just old and slow, so I was well overdue an upgrade. I used Christmas as the excuse to finally get myself one – even though it was a little early as I couldn’t wait – and I can honestly say the new 2018 Macbook Air is the perfect Christmas gift if you have the money to treat yourself or someone else! The new gold colour they’ve brought out is stunning, it’s definitely more like a rose gold and warm in tone but it’s so beaut and the air itself runs like a dream. It’s far more powerful than my five year old MacBook Pro and ten times lighter and thinner in weight so it’s amazing for popping in my bag and taking on the go. If you travel a lot or work from home with a little one then it’s ideal and not only is it super practical, it just feels amazing to treat yourself to the latest tech. This little guy is definitely every bloggers dream tool…

Scented Picks…
When it comes to scents, there’s so many that I love but I always love a good luxury pick like something from Diptyque or Jo Malone. My Diptyque candle is my absolute fave, and whilst I only own one, I have a fair few on my wish list and plan to pick up some more in the Black Friday sales! I have the Vanille scent and it’s just a dream if you love sweet scents, it fills the room and I’m a little bit obsessed with the packaging! I can’t wait to re-use this jar as a makeup brush holder or something similar. As for other fragrances, there’s a lot of perfume that I class as luxurious but Jo Malone probably tops them all. I love my little bottle of English Pear & Freesia and have so many other beautiful scents on my wish list. I love the smaller bottles but I really want some of the larger ones as the shape of them is stunning and they look gorgeous on a bathroom shelf. I also think the Marc Jacobs fragrance picks make beautiful luxurious gifts, especially the Daisy range as the bottles are just beautiful!

Homeware…
Luxury homeware has got to be one of my all time faves. This year I’ve treated myself to all sorts from little things like marble trays to a west elm (!!!) desk. One of my favourite places to shop is Anthropologie which is semi-expensive, there’s quite a lot of affordable picks on there but also a lot of things that are definitely more of a treat. A couple of personal favourites of mine are the Aldalora Throw which is just stunning and makes my bed look gorgeous, and the Pommed Jute Cushion which I’m obsessed with… don’t think I’ve ever loved a cushion so much before! Anthro just kill it with their beautiful cushions and throws, there’s so many other gorge picks too that would just make the perfect gifts.
Another recent homeware favourite that would come in as such a beautiful gift this year are the infinity bouquets from Grace Flowerbox. I picked the white carnation in the white box with rose gold details and it’s such a stunning addition to my room. This is my second flower box from this brand and I have been so impressed with them both times. The white carnation box is so stunning and a perfect winter piece for your home, I love the addition of greenery in this one too! I love the idea of infinity roses as they require no maintenance whatsoever yet are 100% real and just sit there making a room look gorge. I can’t think of a better gift for someone who loves fresh flowers like I do, they have so many other beautiful options on the website so it’s definitely worth a look.
A Fresh Bouquet…
I literally buy fresh flowers every week and whilst they are probably seen more as a birthday thing, I think Christmas is a lovely time to treat someone to a nice bouquet too! Handy Flowers have some really beautiful bouquets on their website, my personal favourite is the Timeless Victorian which I can honestly say, pictures don’t do justice as it is stunning! I’ve never had such a gorgeous bouquet before, and it was so big that it barely fit in the vase. You can choose to add extras like the glass vase which I think is a lovely idea, perfect for every occasion. The Timeless Victorian contains seven different types of flowers which is amazing and the bouquet is just so full of shape and colour which I love – perfect for photographing. Some of the other bouquets that are maybe a bit more festive include the Christmas Magic and Christmas Carol offerings which you can find on the website – full of dark red blooms that would look gorgeous in the centre of the table on Christmas day so it’s definitely worth having a browse if the lady in your life loves some fresh blooms.
The Bag Picks…
Now, I don’t actually own a designer handbag. But. I WANT ONE SO BADLY. My absolute favourite favourite, favourite designer bags are ones from Chloe. Each and every Chloe bag is the dream and one day I will own one. I think the one I have my heart set on most is the Chloe Faye, I love both the small and the medium and all the colours but I think I would go for Motty Grey or Cement Pink which are equally beautiful. It would be so hard to choose between them. Any Chloe bag would be the ultimate treat for Christmas and I am already envious of anyone who gets one!

Something Special…
Something that’s extremely special and sentimental is one of the most luxurious gifts you can receive for Christmas. I received this absolutely beautiful star map from Greater Skies, who specialise in producing personalised star maps of all kinds. I chose the Little Star Map which focuses on the sky above where your little one was born at the exact location, date and time. As soon as it arrived memories of the day I went into labour and my birth came flooding back and it made me feel so emotional! It truly is such a gorgeous idea and Greater Skies offer various designs for any special event or occasion that you’ve had. It’s perfect for those who have little ones or have just got married, or even engaged. It’s a truly, truly precious print and I already have it on display in my room. My entire family have commented on how beautiful it is and my sister has already decided she’s getting one when she has children!
