A few gift ideas for Valentine's Day...
I know, I know, this gift guide is a bit late. I've had deadlines everywhere lately - and then to top it off Reuben was off nursery yesterday which was going to be my "get shit done" day! Anyway, better late than never right? There's still a week to go until Valentine's so plenty of time to grab your other half some goodies. And let's face it anyway, you always see hundreds of people rushing for last minute chocolates and flowers on the 14th don't you...
The Card
We all know a card usually involves a last minute supermarket dash, but it shouldn't! Cards are so lovely to have on display, to frame or even to keep in a memory box under your bed. Pieskot sells some of the most beautiful illustrated cards that would be perfect to frame. Some of my favourites include For You, You're My Star & You Make Me Hot. Super cute!
Jewellery
As you all know, I love John Greed and they have the perfect range of jewellery that makes for the most beautiful Valentine's gift. My top pick are the 9ct Gold Diamond Cut Hoop Earrings with the Candy Gold Plated Studs to compliment if the special lady in your life has a double lobe piercing like I do! These picks together are super affordable yet amazing quality and really make a statement. The perfect gift.
For The Man
I'm not amazing at gift ideas for the males, but a couple of really nice options are firstly, this Ted Baker tee from Mainline Menswear. They have some really lovely gift options on their website, but this tee is perfect for dressing down or dressing up, so you can give your man something new to wear for your Valentine's date night! Secondly, men-u have some really nice skincare kits and the Shave Facial Essentials Kit makes a lovely little gift, get him all prepped for the evening!
Pamper Products
If you're planning on an evening in, why not treat yourself/your lady to some new pamper bits? The Elasticizer from Philip Kingsley is the ultimate treat for the hair. It leaves it bouncy, shiny and as soft as a baby! I've wanted to try this forever and it's 100% worth the hype. Elemis also have a rose range which is my new fave and is perfect as a Valentine's gift, I highly recommend the Rose Cleansing Balm in particular - dreamy!
For The Kitchen
You can never go wrong with homeware whatever the occasion, and my personal favourite pick for Valentine's this year has to be this Pink Tea Cup & Saucer Set from Sophie Conran for Portmeirion! It's absolutely adorable and the touch of pink is just gorgeous. These didn't arrive in time for me to photograph but you'll see them lots on my insta in the near future as they are just beautiful! I'm sure any lady would be thrilled to receive these for the kitchen, and they come in some other pretty colours too.
An Experience To Remember
If you fancy going for something a bit different and perhaps more memorable, then one of Buy A Gift's experiences may be one to consider. They have so many lovely options to choose from including a two nights for the price of one hotel break, a 3 course meal with bubbly at the shard London, a spa day with afternoon tea for two, and my personal favourite - a two night hotel break with dinner! I've personally opted for the two night hotel break and I'm so excited to use it and whisk my own little Valentine away for the weekend. If you go and browse Buy A Gift's website they have tons more too, there's something for everyone.
Another fab experience find is with Red Letter Day's. They have some similar but slightly different ones to offer including bottomless bubbles afternoon tea in London, a seasonal flower arranging class, a pizza masterclass, and a chocolate making workshop! I did opt for another hotel break just because I saw one on offer very close to me at a four star hotel in York. What a treat! Again, they have so many lovely experiences to offer that you can go and enjoy with your other half so it's well worth having a browse. Everything is so affordable too.
The Bubbly
Would it be Valentine's without a glass of bubbly? Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening at home or venturing away for the weekend, I've got you covered with these ideas. First up we have the absolutely stunning Brut Rosé Champagne from Pommery. It comes encased in the most beautiful pink packaging and the attention to detail is just spot on. It truly is a special gift for a special evening. If you can't treat yourself to some real champers on Valentine's then when can you? Secondly, I have a personalised option which is the Sparkling Rosé with Chocolates that you can order with not only a name on, but a little message too - how cute! This again has really lovely packaging too and also comes encased in a very sturdy fancy black box. They are both two really, really lovely gift options for whatever takes your fancy.
Fragrance Picks
Fragrance is always one of the easy gift options isn't it? My favourites this year would have to be the Armani duo, Because It's You and Stronger With You. Such a cute perfume duo and you get one each! They both smell absolutely incredible, I got mine from World Duty Free, so if you're flying anywhere soon they're worth picking up!
I'll pop a few more ideas down below as I'm sure this gift guide will come in useful for any upcoming anniversaries or birthdays too...
