My current Bobbi Brown faves...
Over the last few months I've been trying out tons of Bobbi Brown products that I've not used before and I'm falling in love with every new item that I add to my collection! I'm now pretty much wearing a full face of BB daily and I'm in love with how their products create such a healthy and natural look, but also how glowy and full of colour my skin always looks. It takes me all of five minutes to do my makeup on a morning and I get the coverage, glow and everything I could want from my daily makeup routine. SO. Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm
This is by far one of my most-used Bobbi Brown products lately. The Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm is just so gorgeous applied to the skin - even on days when I don't want to wear makeup, this will give my skin a boost and sinks in so beautifully. It's essentially a primer as it can be applied underneath your foundation to give your skin that extra glow, which is how I use it most days. It can also be mixed into your foundation if you want to give whatever product you're using a glowing boost. I use Bare Glow on an everyday basis and it just brings my dull, tired skin back to life instantly. It also adds hydration which a lot of primers don't do so I much prefer this in the winter months.
Intensive Skin Serum Foundation
I'm really quite fussy with my foundation, for everyday wear I like something that blends in with ease, gives me enough coverage for my redness, controls my oil and feels light. Not much to ask for right? Well I've been absolutely loving the Intensive Skin Serum Foundation lately because it pretty much ticks all of the above. It's essentially a skincare product and foundation in one, it evens out my skin tone, gives a lovely and glowing natural finish, whilst protecting my skin and fighting any signs of ageing. It's amazing! If you love a base that melts into your skin and blends like a dream, then this is it. It reminds me of a tinted moisturiser but more of a serum version and with better coverage. You can also build up the coverage of it too, I tend to just squeeze the product straight on to my foundation brush (I use the BB Full Coverage Face Brush that I purchased myself. After having this used on me at one of their counters I had to have it immediately) and instantly go in with it, applying more and more until I achieve the coverage I want. On good skin days I use hardly any product but if I'm having a breakout I'll use a bit more. I love that the bottle has such a gorgeous design too, it looks beautiful on my vanity!
Nude Finish Illuminating Powder
To set my base I'm really liking the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder - I'm usually all about the matte powders (and will sometimes go in with one for my T-Zone area on an oily day) but through the winter my skin has been on the drier side. The illuminating powder helps to set my base but it also gives a lovely glowy finish without leaving my skin looking flat, I've almost hit pan on this because I'm obsessed with all of the glow!
Pot Rouge For Lips & Cheeks
Many of you will know what a big blush fan I am, and at the moment I am honestly obsessed with the BB Pot Rouge in the shade Fresh Melon, it's a dream. It's a peachy pink which is my favourite kind of blush shade and I just love how beautiful it looks and how it instantly adds the most gorgeous pop of colour to my cheeks. I've never been big on cream products but lately I've been finding myself drawn to them more and more and I think that this actually sits on my face so much better than a powder blush, especially with how dehydrated my skin has been! I use my usual blusher blush to apply it with but you can also use your fingers, and I love that this can double up as a lip product too. Perfect for travelling with!
Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick
I've got a few Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks now but I'm currently loving the shade Nude Beach which is the most effortless everyday eyeshadow to wear. It looks quite dark in my swatch below but it blends out to a nude pink and just adds a little somethin-somethin to the eyes. If you have veiny lids like me then you'll know how essential a bit of eyeshadow is when doing your makeup but most days I can't be bothered so I'll just opt for something simple like this, it's a one swipe trick. Love it!
Smokey Eye Mascara
I have lash extensions at the moment so I only apply mascara to my bottom lashes, however I've used this on my top ones too and it's just such a fab mascara that it's my absolute go-to lately. I originally had a mini version of it and loved it so much that I had to get the full size ASAP. The BB Smokey Eye Mascara is amazing for creating volume without any clumps and it doesn't flake or smudge, it's an everyday staple in my stash.
Extra Lip Tint
The Extra Lip Tint in Bare Pink is my most worn lip product at the mo by far. I actually have one on my vanity and one permanently in my handbag because I reach for it that often. We all know how horribly dry lips can get in the winter and this is not only a lip balm, but gives the lips the most gorgeous wash of pink at the same time - I'm addicted! I have naturally pale lips and I can't leave the house without lipstick on usually but this lip balm means I'm not wearing any, yet look like I am because of the lovely wash of pink. If you're a lip balm addict then this is definitely one to add to your stash, so easy to wear too!
