Introducing Onoco...
If there's one thing that has helped me immensely during these first few months with a new baby, it's been apps that enable me to log anything I need to keep track of. It was a midwife who initially recommended a tracking app to me, she suggested that I download one to keep track of Luca's feeds and it honestly changed my life! I wish I'd known about, or these had been around when I had Reuben. Although Luca is my second baby, he is my first breastfed baby and keeping track of which boob I last fed from, as well as how often he feeds and the length of each feed has been really helpful. It's much easier to get an idea of his routine and it was vital in those first few weeks to share it with my midwives, and it's still quite important even now whilst he's under the paediatrician for potential allergies.
A few weeks ago I was introduced to Onoco, which is an app made specially for mums, and collects all of the most popular categories from parenting apps and combines them together into one app. Onoco is a baby tracker, family organiser and baby development app. It allows you to track anything and everything all in one place - as well as tracking Luca's feeds, I'm able to log his dirty nappies, any medicine he takes, naps, milestones and pretty much anything else. It's so convenient to have everything all in one easy-to-access place on a single app!

Key Facts About Onoco...
You can track everything that matters to you in your baby's routine. This could be naps, nappies, bottle feeds, breastfeeds, medicine or growth. You can also create your own custom logs for tracking activities such as tummy time, bath time, story time or anything else you wish to add. The menu is customisable and you have everything you need at the touch of a button. It's so easy to share it with your partner, your midwife, your health visitor or any other healthcare professional!
You can add multiple children. If you have two or more young children, you can make logs for both/all of them and easily select which child you want to add a log for. I don't need to track much with my eldest Ru as he's 6 now, however he tends to go through fussy stages with food and it's really helpful to be able to log if/when he's eaten and what he's had. It will also come in super handy if he gets poorly so that I can log any medicines he's taking. I wish I'd had this when he was really poorly last winter as he was on so many different medications and it would have made my life much less stressful trying to keep track them all.
You can add family members or caregivers. Once on the app, you create your family and add your children to it. Once you've done that, you can invite your partner or any other family members you'd like to share your children's logs with. There is also an 'invite nanny' option where you can give a caregiver outside of your family access so that if your child/children are in the care of someone, they can follow your little ones routine, track anything that needs to be tracked and share all of it with you via the app! This is super handy if you leave your children with a childminder, or even grandma for the day.

Final Thoughts...
Onoco is designed by parents for parents, trying to help your parenting journey be as smooth as it can be. In those first few weeks/months as you're adjusting to life with a new baby, an app like this really makes things a whole lot less stressful. As your baby gets older and you start thinking about implementing a routine with things such as their naps, weaning, activities and play, this app will come in incredibly useful.
It's already such a huge part of my daily life, particularly because I use it for every single feed, and I love that it's so easy to use. I also really like that I have been able to invite dad too, it means that he feels less left out with Luca's routine as he is able to go on to the app on his own phone whilst he's at work, and keep track of any updates that I make. I think that's brilliant and helps keep dad super involved as Jake often feels like he misses out on a lot being in full time work.
