Trying out the PAJ GPS Power Finder...
We all know how important GPS is in 2023 - I don't go out in my car without using a navigation app so that I don't get lost, and I make sure my other half and my family know where I am at all times via a family tracking app so that I feel safer going out on my own with my little ones. GPS can also be useful for keeping track of important belongings as well as people.
A lot of people now use airtags to keep track of belongings such as luggage, handbags or bigger and more expensive belongings such as cars. However, airtags have to be near an apple device so they aren't always the best or most reliable option to choose. This is where a better GPS tracking device can come into play, and I've been trying out the PAJ GPS Power Finder which fits the bill perfectly.
PAJ GPS is a company founded in Germany that specialises in GPS trackers for car tracking, fleet tracking, pet tracking, devices that can track your loved ones and much more. They include features including live tracking, route history, global coverage and the ability to share the location with anyone including the emergency services.
If you're only in the market for one device, the PAJ GPS Power Finder ticks all of the boxes, find out more below...
The PAJ GPS Power Finder is a 4G device that can be used to track anything and everything. It's a 280g tracking device that's 11.8cm in length, and a battery life of 40 days and approx 90 days on standby. It's designed for the use of mainly tracking vehicles such as cars, caravans, boats, lorries and many others, however you could also place this in a suitcase, your handbag or in your child's school backpack. There is other much smaller and more lightweight devices for other uses, however this is capable of doing it all albeit a little bigger and heavier.
With the PAJ GPS Power Finder, you'll get alerted once it's on low battery, as well as any dropping or exceeding any speed limits. It also has a geofence alert so that you get a message when leaving an area defined by you. It's got live tracking, superb GPS reception and a precise location of approximately 5 metres. When it arrives, there's no setting up as it's boxed up and ready to go. All you have to do is plug it in via the USB cable and plug provided in the box, and give it a good charge before use. There's a sim car already installed in the device, you simply just need to download the app and pair it up with your phone.
The tracker can be accessed via the portal on any device, such as your phone, iPad or laptop. The Finder portal does require a subscription but this can be activated for as little as £3.75 a month. For a sim card, that's pretty good going!
I went out for a drive in my partners car to trial the live tracking and found it excellent. The left screenshot is zoomed right out, and the right screenshot is it zoomed in as far as it can go. It showed our location absolutely bang on and I think that's really impressive, especially if you have this tracker in something smaller like your bag that got lost or stolen.
The PAJ GPS Tracker is magnetic (as shown above on a radiator) so it's designed perfectly for a vehicle as you can physically attach it to your car without it moving out of place. I don't have a really expensive car that I value highly, however it's still the only car I have, and I keep a lot of high value equipment in it such as an expensive pram, expensive car seats etc, so I plan on using it to track my car just incase it ever got stolen. You really never know what can happen and it's always better to be safe than sorry!
Do you own a tracking device? Have you ever thought of using one?
