What to shop for this Black Friday...
October has come around so incredibly fast this year, and we're edging closer and closer to the big C word. Before that, we have the best shopping day of the year, also known as Black Friday, and it's the perfect time to get everything on your Christmas list ticked off. If you love Black Friday as much as I do for finding a good bargain, then this post is for you! I know how overwhelming Black Friday can be, so I'm sharing some ideas of what you could shop for this year.
The everyday favourites
If you like to stock up on your everyday faves such as your makeup, skincare or shower products, then Black Friday is a great time to see if any of your favourites are in the sales. Notino have some great deals on all beauty products including some of my personal favourites, the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream and the Origins GinZing Moisturiser. You'll often find rakes of fragrances in the sales and it's the right time to grab expensive purchases such as Chanel perfume amongst other high end brand favourites like Hugo Boss and Marc Jacobs. I've already spotted Marc Jacobs Daisy and Hugo Boss The Scent For Her in the sales, two of my favourites! You can save them as Christmas presents, or even just buy them for yourself. I usually like to search for my favourite expensive foundation, or my go-to luxury skincare products as these can add up to so much money and generally you can get some amazing discounts in the BF sales. If your go-to gifts are bath and body products (I know I used to get rakes of these as a child!) then you'll 100% find plenty of fab sets in the sales and can tick lots of people off your Christmas list.
The big purchases
I usually try and get my children a big 'main' gift for Christmas, and then some other little bits and stocking fillers, and Black Friday is without a doubt the perfect time to get the main gift on a big discount. This could be anything from a games console to something for the garden.
One big purchase that I will be looking out for in the BF sales is a new coffee machine. I've been in the market for a Sage coffee machine for a long while now, but they are so spenny. Black Friday is a great time to look out for some big discounts on a large home purchase that you're after. We also want to get a dryer for over the winter months, so we'll probably look out for some discounts on those too. Home purchases like this are hundreds of pounds, so it's a really good idea to wait until Black Friday to save yourself lots of money!
For the little ones
Toys are no exception when it comes to the Black Friday sales, and not only can you grab lots of goodies for Christmas stockings, but these can also be put away for birthdays in the new year. Amazon, John Lewis and Argos always do some great deals and these are some of my go-to retailers when I'm looking for various baby toys, or lego sets and building blocks! Lego sets in particular are a good one to look out for discounts on, as some of the better sets are so much money. We love wooden toys in our house, and they can be really expensive so I'll be on the lookout for some good savings on those too.
Even if you hate the hype of Black Friday, nobody can resist all of the reduced prices and savings on all of your favourite products, and for Christmas presents. With the cost of living lately, discounts are more than welcome in my eyes.
Are you looking out for anything in particular this Black Friday?
